Beep Beep! The Obama Bus Claims Another Victim: Jim Johnson steps down as chief VP vetter for Obama

As I said this morning, Mr. Johnson, meet bus. Bus, meet Mr. Johnson. You know the drill. We all saw this coming:

“Jim did not want to distract in any way from the very important task of gathering information about my vice presidential nominee, so he has made a decision to step aside that I accept. We have a very good selection process underway, and I am confident that it will produce a number of highly qualified candidates for me to choose from in the weeks ahead. I remain grateful to Jim for his service and his efforts in this process.”

Another “this isn’t the Jim Johnson I knew” moment in the Obama campaign!

Marc Ambinder, “Something changed; yesterday, this was a ‘game’ and irrelevant; today, it was important enough to accept Johnson’s resignation.” Is there more to come? New stuff that Team Barry’s crackerjack vetting team forgot to check on in advance?

Geraghty : “Once again, we see that Obama’s first instinct when encountering a skeptical questioner is to challenge the questioner; ‘no, you’re wrong.’ Twenty-four hours ago, this was ‘a game’ and Johnson didn’t work for Obama. Once again, as with Wright, and the flag pin, and Trinity United, etc., the initial answer is now inoperative.”

The real question is, who will be next?

“This isn’t the wife I knew.”

“These aren’t the kids I knew.”

Obama has been shown now to be a phony, a fraud, a fake. The great orator, so filled with polish and charisma, is lost without a prepared speech and a teleprompter.

Over the weekend his “cost of” and “breathalyzer/inhalator” gaffes were so bad they make Bush look gifted. Obama makes Dan Quayle look like a genius.

    Emperor Obama has NO clothes!

That’s why he does large venues Robert. They can set up a teleprompter and tell him what to say!

Notice how Obama is balking at McCain’s challenge for debates? He knows he will get creamed.

I wonder if Obama would be willing to throw Michelle Obama under the bus if it turns out she did use the term “whitey” when speaking from the pulpit of that “church”?

Obama never seems to know what is going on around him, doesn’t know what associates and cronies are doing, etc.

And this is change we can believe in?

One of the Republican campaigns has the tape so I am guessing it is the October surprise. Obama set up a site to debunk rumors and he is saying she never said it..Time will tell.
