Obama is the enemy end of story, if he becomes the next boy in the white house he will do so much evil it will be the end of freedom and if old Red McCain becomes the next Boy he will also do that evil, anyway you look it’s, the end.

For those with any doubts about Obamas muslim background. And even if you discount that you have to remember he has written about it in his book. So how can he then put up a website condeming the rumor? Makes no sense.

Gee, so there is a problem if he’s Muslim? Bush had a 15 year cocaine habit, but we elected him anyway (go figure…).

David. Yes, so soon after 9/11 it is probably not a wise choice for America to trust the Islamic world. Sorry, but that is just the way it is. Too bad there aren’t more muslim voices protesting the radicals actions but until there is?
As for the cocaine, a non issue. Now if it’s true Obama made money in college dealing as well as his habit as he speaks of in his book, well, that might be something to consider. I’m not all that concerned over that issue because we all had our moments in the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s. It would be an issue if he still used.
Btw, wherever did you get the 15 year habit for Bush. There was NO evidence of that whatsoever. Strictly one womans accusation.

Fox did something before the 2004 election about his 15 year habit. Only reason I remember it was that I was so surprised hearing it from Fox.
I work in a very integrated area of IT, many Muslim, Hindu, Jews and Christian. Not trusting someone I’ve worked with for years goes against my grain, but I understand your broader point. Its more about the fact that there is a difference between one’s country and religion. Even if there was a big rally world-wide against such terrorism, until I actually see some action, I won’t get the sense that I can trust it from words only. Such things I can’t control. What I can control (to a point) is my country’s response to terrorism. Not trusting someone is a negative response. Going into Pakistan and Afghanistan to find the idiot who took down our buildings is a positive response. We started on that road, but got side-tracked in Iraq, in my mind.

I think there’s alot wrong in your analysis but I will start by saying that since Pakistan already has a nuke we need to be careful. That said, Saddam was a threat to the world and the region. Bush Senior should have removed him and that mistake cost alot of folks alot of pain. We knew he had terrorist training camps and the fact that he wrote $25,000 checks to the families of martyrs who killed the jews in Israel were reason enough to take him out.
As for fighting in Iraq we have gotten three benefits in my mind. 1. We are not fighting Al Queda here as they infiltrated Iraq to fight us there. 2. Saddam is no longer a world threat and the billions of dollars he frauded the oil for food program has gone back to it’s rightful place and 3. Iraqi citizens who dissented against Saddams regime are alive today, able to find in the mass graves and bury their loved ones properly and who are working on government structure fair to all and another U.S. ally in the region.
