Time for a New Independence Day!

I’ve seen many July 4ths come and go. But I have to say this one is the first one on which I will feel deep anger and resentment, so deep in fact it will diminish the enjoyment. Anger not at America, but at our ignorant, incompetent, corrupt Congress. The current energy situation is dragging down every other sector of the economy, is depressing Americans, is enriching our enemies, and bankrupting America all at the same time. By all measures it is a crisis.
So what does Congress do? They’ve done absolutely nothing so far; so they take off for the holidays to enjoy their vacation! While America burns, these arrogant aholes will be glibly celebrating Independence Day even as the reality is America is NOT energy independent! I’m done contacting our two useless “Senators”; I wrote to them and received only a form letter response from one that indicated she won’t even acknowledge what needs to be done let alone do any of it.
We need a new Independence Day! Energy Independence for America! Now! And we need to throw about 2/3 of Congress out on their stupid asses. I don’t know who our “Senators” opponents will be in the next elections, but I know I am not only voting for them, I am going to volunteer for them.
I have never, ever in my lifetime seen a Congress as useless, as incompetent, as arrogant, as stupid as the current Pelosi-Reid Democrat led Congress. This the nadir of the Congress in the history of America. It should go down in the history books forever as the great failure. The fools are worse than just useless; they are vermin, they are maggots.
I thank God every day we aren’t involved in a World War right now. I doubt these cretins would be able to function effectively for us to win it. If I was President in a serious situation with this Congress, I would declare martial law and disband Congress.
