HERE IS THE DEMOCRAT’S ENERGY PLAN
Democrats have a bold plan. Hold on for 10 or 15 years and they’ll have a bounty of energy options. They promise. But no oil shale. No clean coal. No nuclear power. And definitely no more oil.

I heard the sound byte the other day where Gore proclaims that in ten years we can get all of our energy from renewable sources. I didn’t hear his whole speech, but it is not likely he is touting Nuclear, especially since he and Hazel O’leary shut down the reprocessing technology for so-called Nuclear waste when Gore was VP.
Any proclamation from anyone that we can switch to “renewable” energy that does not have Nuclear power as its centerpiece is astonishing, breathtaking idiocy.

I heard him actually say “nuclear”. After I picked myself up off the floor, I mailed a copy of “Backpeddling for Dummies” to Pelosi.
Kidding aside, nuclear doesn’t emit carbon.

You are correct David and furthermore with technology as refined as it is they actually use spent fuel cells over and over until there is very little waste. Amazing!
But can we get it?

David I don’t think you are actually a “Liberal”. You make too much sense…

With the current technology, and this country’s supply of coal and oil reserves, we could cut our oil imports dramatically in 2 years. We would then have the means (Money) and time to produce the technology necessary to make renewable energy sources economically viable without doubling everyone’s electric bill. It takes years to build a nuclear power plant and that’s AFTER a decade or more of fighting lawsuits with the radical environmentalists. Same thing with building refineries. It takes less time to build than it does to fight the idiotic lawsuits from the rabid environmentalists.
We could use the coal we have long enough to be able to develop sufficiently efficient solar and wind power to be able to not have to use coal for electrical generation. We just aren’t there yet. Another 2 decades and I’d expect us to have over half our electricity coming from renewable sources at fair market prices. I already get mine from the largest nuke plant in the US.

As long as the Democrats have any power, we will not only be energy dependent, we will be energy starved, except for Mukety-Muck Democrats like Gore who waste more energy than the average American uses.

NO NEED TO ADD ONE WORD TO THESE PERFECT COMMENTS, well maybe one or two agreements would be in keeping.
GORE IS A GOURD HEAD, BO & THE DEMS ARE DUMBASS IDIOTS. ALONG WITH THEIR WIVES, UNCLES AND ‘AUNTIE ANTS’ What a fiasco!! Could any of you ever guessed of this a year ago. The campaign keeps getting worse and worse: rabid as you say. MAD DOG MENTALITY – GONE BALISTIC!
