Let's face facts, subprime loans allowed people to get into homes they probably shouldn't have gotten into. There were unscrupulous mortgage brokers who were committing fraud when they put together some of these loans. If the criminals targeted black consumers because of a lack of financial savvy, that's got two necessary responses. Blacks should actually learn that they need to be held responsible for their actions and learn to read and undestand what they're signing, and the corrupt and criminal mortgage brokers should be charged with fraud and sent to prison.
