Reporter: Senator, do you have any thoughts if candidate Obama decides to name you as a vice presidential running mate?Â
Edwards: Well you know you won’t be shocked to hear that I’ve been asked this before and I’ve said the same thing every time. I am not seeking the job and I truly don’t expect to be asked. Anything though that senator Obama asks me to do either in his campaign or in his administration that will allow me to serve my country, I would take very seriously.
Reporter: How do you feel the situation in los angeles on Monday would affect any future in politics in this administration-a potential Obama administration?
Edwards: I don’t know:none. I don’t.

Edwards: None.
Reporter: The national enquirer story?
Edwards: I don’t talk about these tabloids. They’re tabloid trash and just full of lies. I am here to talk about helping people.

Why wouldn’t Edwards still be on the list? John Mccain is divorced and cheated on his first wife all the time and he is the Republican nominee! What is the difference?

I just have one little observation/question on this topic. Can’t a reasonably decent looking multimillionaire that will spend $1200 on a haircut do better than that? Elliot Spitzer may have been paying for it, but at least Ashley Dupree wasn’t a totally skanky looking witch with what can not even be described as a bad hair day, maybe a bad hair YEAR, but certainly not just a day.

Skank is right, guess Edwards just has needs??? You know, he might have another ‘Pretty Woman’ out there, one would hope! How embarrassing, like you said #5 she could have looked lots better. Loved your comment, and unfortunately none of us are surprised. Only reason Obama is in the clear, three guesses – all those anchor men like old hard balls Chris Matthews are turned on by him. They are in LUV, bi-polar, bi-sexual what’s the difference, With MO I can kinda understand, another bad hair year. To each liberal, it’s always pro-choice, for just them of course. The rules can be broken and change when it comes to what THEY want.
