David. If you look at the tenets of socialism you will see that the Democratic party does indeed embrace them. From universal health care to redistribution of wealth, it’s called socialism. Republicans and anarchy is not a good comparison. Republicans believe in free enterprise and capitalism.

As for Osama bin Laden, I’m fairly certain we will never find him. Why? Because during the 90’s he had more than ample time to get his house in order so to speak and make sure he would never be found. Guess Mr. Clinton should have taken him when he had the chance, or should I say at least by the third offer.

Not to get off topic, I do agree the surge strategy did what it was supposed to do, but there is still a lot to get done and as Petreus said, its still very fragile. I pray it holds and we get out soon.

What do you call someone that advocates socialistic policies?

If Osama died today, would Al Qaeda die out tomorrow?

Why didn’t we just take him back in the 90’s when we had a chance?

Iraq acknowledged that without the surge, their split factions would not have been able to pull together to unite the country against the insurgents. There is much to do to bring Iraq together, but just remember, they were a united and prosperous country before Saddam took power, and they wish to return to that.

Boy, how much more juvenile can Mr. Voight get? Perhaps the “liar, liar, pants on fire” would work as well. As the Republicans skip down the path saying “the surge worked, oh, the surge worked”, the rest of us living in reality land can wonder the address of the institution where Osama bin Laden is locked up at before we can feel any effort on the “war on terror” has been fruitful.
Mr. Voight’s comments about comparing the Democrats to Socialism is like comparing the Republicans to anarchy. both extremes are not practical. Call it what it is, guys. Its called fear-mongering. Perhaps he got a page from McCarthy’s playbook.
Still looking for substance from both sides…

This is so ridiculous I don’t even know where to start. Calling someone a Socialist or unpatriotic is one of the weakest forms of attacks. Moreover, when the Republicans skip down the path singing “the surge worked, the surge worked”, the rest of us will watch and ask the same question in unison “and now what???” There has been a large drop in violence in Iraq due to internal militias calling truce until the US pull out. Then what? We pull out and violence escalates, then what? Perhaps those of you who view our war in Iraq as a solution to the “War on Terror” can kindly tell me the address of where Osama Bin Laden has been locked up. McCain is to be respected for him being a war hero, but his answers to security threats include the phrase “send in the Marines”, which doesn’t cut it anymore.

So, the democratic mutual admiration society, i.e. his highness, Barack Hussein Obama and his democratic cronies met behind closed doors … and, then upon leaving the meeting, graced us with glowing reviews of Obama’s humility and his inevitability to win in November. Then, for the umpteenth time, Obama told us how his 6 countries in 9 days photo op, proved how he is now a qualified expert in foreign policy. Then, he refused to acknowledge that the surge worked. Yes … I would call Obama a presumptuous arrogant empty suit, who is being packaged and agressively marketed to the American people. What a grand deception. I urge all Americans … if you really love this country, and you don’t want to see it turn into a third world country … make sure you … and everyone you know, vote for Senator John McCain in November!!!

I wrote this speech for Mr. Voight. KIDDING!

But kidding aside this was a very good piece. Written precise and to the point it shows that Jon has a real grasp of what’s really going on, unlike most of his Hollywood counterparts.

With the polls showing a neck in neck race, I’m beginning to feel a little hope that Americans are starting to see through this man and see him and his programs for what they really are.

God help us if he’s elected president.

For certain this is true and Obama should not have spoken to college grads for Ted Kennedy last spring. I read where the students were calling one another, saying “Jesus is speaking.” It was caous when he was on campus and people went in orbit. I know one thing if I had a child in college I would not appreciate Obama putting crazy ideas in their head. He told them to do service for our country through peace corps, or publc service after their expensive education. I would resent that highly if I had paid out money for my child to be able to build a career. Yea, fatten the pockets of the Congress so they can live a life of luxury. Everyone else can turn down their heat, work like dogs for the dear narcissist Obama who wants to be World Leader! Obama should not be allowed to brain wash young people, he is a very dangerous influence. How people are not mad as _____at this evil man is beyond me. So glad to hear McCain is above Obama in the polls. I want to see Obama have to give a fancy speech congratulating McCain on his win. Let’s just see how that plays out. That will be the first speech ever I listen to that Obama makes. LOL Talking about egg on Obama’s and Michelle’s face.
