The presidential rule applies to all of us. I may not like the person serving, but unless I decide to pack up and leave this great country, for better or worse, the person that is sworn in, is my POTUS. It's like the bumper stickers that say George Bush is not my President. When I was on Active Service from 1973 to 1993(Thanks for the check, all you taxpayers), it didn't matter who was holding the office. The President is the President. I served under 6 of them starting with Richard Nixon and ending with William Clinton. Times were good and bad during those 20 years. The best was under Ronald Reagan and the worst was under Jimmy Carter. But were instructed that we served the Office not the individual holding the Office. The Nation needs to keep this in mind.
