It’s high time for a Rezko ad, just like it was high time for an Ayers ad yesterday. Still, an embarrassing gaffe this morning in forgetting how many homes he owns, nearly matched by the embarrassing lameness of Tim Kaine’s third-grade bon mot in reply. Was the Nelson Muntz “ha-ha” sound effect not available? Exit question: Is this final, definitive proof that Hillary’s not going to be VP? Surely Obama wouldn’t drop this ad and then turn around and put the $100-million-dollar woman on the ticket.
Update: Prepare for Rezko-mania: The McCain camp is e-mailing around Freddoso’s op-ed about him in today’s New York Post. Oh, the fun we’ll have with that Hillary “slum lord” soundbite if she’s the nominee.

As I understand it, this puts the burden on the attending physician who has determined, since they were performing this procedure, that, in fact, this is a nonviable fetus; that if that fetus, or child – however way you want to describe it – is now outside the mother’s womb and the doctor continues to think that it’s nonviable but there’s, let’s say, movement or some indication that, in fact, they’re not just coming out limp and dead, that, in fact, they would then have to call a second physician to monitor and check off and make sure that this is not a live child that could be saved.
That’s it. If a baby comes out and is alive, Barack Obama thought it too damned burdensome to have another doctor, someone used to dealing with live babies, check to see if the baby was viable.

#4, Sen. Biden did vote “yes” back in 2002, but has since been a leading vocal critic of the war in Iraq, especially regarding the pitiful way Team Bush has run the whole fiasco from the begining.
Most analysts on both sides, from what I’ve seen in the past few days, are saying that the Biden pick was a safe bet for Sen. Obama.
