Celebration of Kennedys an ‘effort to take focus off Clintons’

Because nothing says hope and change, or the average Joe, like a Kennedy!

“The work begins anew, the hope rises again and the dream lives on,” Kennedy said in a strong voice, reprising the final line of a speech at the 1980 convention that brought a different convention to its feet.

“The Last Hurrah,”

But first, he got snubbed by Jimmy Carter’s convention managers, who denied him a major speaking role at the 1976 convention.

When he finally did run in 1980, Kennedy did so against the odds favoring the renomination of President Carter. He lost to Carter in the presidential primaries, but didn’t quit. Instead, he challenged Carter at the convention with an attempt to overturn a rule binding Carter’s primary-won majority to support him. Losing that, Kennedy ended his candidacy but kept up his pressure by forcing Carter to accept platform provisions he didn’t want.

The crescendo of that convention came not for nominee Carter but for the defeated Kennedy. “For me, a few hours ago, this campaign ended,” Kennedy said. “For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die.” That ignited a 40-minute demonstration, a time of high emotion in an otherwise dutiful convention.

In the ritual close of a convention, party leaders, winners and losers, gather on stage for a unity show with the nominee. The loudest roar that night came when Kennedy arrived on stage, belatedly, to pay perfunctory respects to Carter. They shook hands and Kennedy moved away, while Carter tried to catch him for a more effusive display of solidarity. He didn’t get it.

The Democrats mishandling of the Clinton’s will cost dearly for everyone involved.   The Clintons  represent the”white trash with money” segment of our society.  Though this form of social snubbing may work on Park Avenue for Caroline Kennedy, more people in this country can relate to a Clinton versus a Kennedy.    Bill Clinton was a two-term President that has brought in a lot of money and a lot of votes.  He is a man that grew up in a working class family and did not have a father to buy him an election!

Kennedy is arguably the lowest douchebag, the worst pos, the biggest traitor, the absolute lowest form of political vermin in American politics. Arch hypocrisy, degeneracy. He is an unindicted felony drunk driver. He is a maggot of the very lowest order.

The Devil is eagerly waiting to claim Kennedy’s soul.

So tell us how you really feel Robert. :d

He either has alot of makeup on or he looks good (as in good health) but every time I see that man I can’t help but think of Mary Jo. Yes, I think the Devil is waiting for him but I think he claimed his soul many years ago.

That shows you how much the libs are off base and are going down with that low life Kennedy. He’ll have plenty of company in the pits of Hell, The Obama’s. The Trinity Church Members, Louis Farrakhan, Uncle Wright, Father Flakie, to top the list is Pelosi and all her evil bosom buds. It will be a hay day down there until someone lights a match.
This Michelle is going to make everyone sick hope they have plenty of Imodium and alka seltzer and have plenty of febreze going out the air vents. Fart, burp, poot, better to burp and taste it than fart and waste it. Hope Michelle remembers that while she makes her speech. =))=))>:p:-&

Hi BonBon! ChapaTraitor sold his soul to the Devil many years ago, perhaps that night at Chappaquiddick. But traditionally the Devil claims the soul itself at the time of death (as in the story of Dr. Faust).

Hi carolyne! I have been wanting to post some more topics but I have been Xtremely busy lately. I have been doing more to go green and help America and the planet than Al Gore and his entire flock of sycophant sheeple.

#3 carolyne you got me thinking. Is Hell actually large enough to hold all of the Democrites that have sold their souls to Beelzebub?

One more reason I believe the modern Democrite party is Satanically-inspired is because the Devil is the Prince of Lies. And when you analyze it, the whole core of today’s Democrites is a tangled web of lies. The only way they succeed politically is to misrepresent, distort, lie, and obfuscate.

Sad and pitiful what so much booze every night can do to the brain. Its is sad when a person develops brain cancer, but its easy to see how it developed. What a pitiful character.
