Keith Olbermann Drags MSNBC To A Level Far Lower Than Tabloid Journalism

By: Pam On: Aug/27/08 -

I don’t know what is worse, the fact that this is Keith’s own site that has this up, the description fits Keith to a tee, or the idiots that responded to it.

Joe Scarborough Keith Olbermann , host of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, needs to be removed from MSNBC now.

Scarborough Keith Olbermann  doesn’t have the ability to report balanced news without bias and belongs with a channel of a lesser stature, like FOX news.

Scarborough Keith Olbermann has shown personal resentment and unprofessional behavior toward various anchors, resulting in feuds instead of news. Scarborough Keith Olbermann  is known for reporting news that reflects his own bias toward gender and race. Scarborough Keith Olbermann  minimizing the accomplishments of African Americans implies that his views are based on racial resentment, and are offensive to all people and races that watch MSNBC. Also, the habitual verbal attacks of female anchors like Mika Brzezinski and Rachel Maddow need to stop immediately.

Scarborough Keith Olbermann  is tainting the fair and focused face of MSNBC.

Scarborough Keith Olbermann  has got to go!

Olbermann Begins Campaign to Fire Scarborough! Update: Kos Doing Keith’s Dirty Work!

Last night’s “get a shovel” crack, sneered by the infamous, deplorable Keith Olbermann into an open mic, just exposed to the world what is going on behind the scenes. Edward R Olbermann already has several scalps on his belt: Tucker Carlson and Dan Abrams lead the list. Now he’s ready to remake MSNBC mornings into the OlbyPlanet model of ideological purity by taking aim at Joe Scarborough.

Was it just by accident that OlberToady David “Slippery” Shuster just happened to pick a fight with Joe the very next morning? On Scarborough’s own show, no less! As our favorite MSNBC ex-insider explains, this is the modus operandi of Keith Oralmann. And we have the audio for your listening pleasure

Wolfson Slaps Back at Matthews, Olbermann

As my colleague Mark Finkelstein reported Tuesday, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann labelled long-time Hillary Clinton advisor Howard Wolfson a Tokyo Rose-like traitor due to his current affiliation with Fox News.

On Wednesday, during an interview with FNC’s Martha MacCallum, Wolfson struck back by mentioning how unfortunate it is “that a news organization with a great tradition like NBC has been taken over by those kind of antics.”

That was just the beginning video at Johnny Dollar

I doubt petitioning PMSNBC to dump Olberman would do any good. I just don’t tune in.

MSNBC has no relevance anymore. I can’t remember the last time I watched that channel - - 7-8 years ago maybe? Saying they are biased isn’t saying enough to describe the blatant left-leaning “journalism” (and I use that term very lightly)

… as evidenced by their ratings ;)

    Oh, please.
If MSNBC gets rid of Olbermann FOX should have to get rid of Hannity or O’Reilly. No honest person can claim FOX is LESS biased than MSNBC.

    Derek,

I am the one that took and crossed out Joe’s name and substituted Keith’s in its place. Where does Keith Olbermann get off trying to oust anyone? I don’t remember Murrow being that way. Keith needs to learn that he is representing a news organization and not a segment of anchors gone wild.

If MSNBC did get rid of him, why should Fox have to get rid of anyone? And why would you pick Hannity and O’Reilly? You do realize that their reruns get more viewers than he gets from both airings of his show?!?!

Let’s see… Hannity has Alan Colmes who is as liberal as they come.

And just this evening in 0′Reilly’s talking points, he stated that he is not ready to support either candidate until ONE of them come out with solid ideas and solutions to the energy crisis, economy woes and how to deal with foreign leaders like Iran. He said McCain hasn’t provided any solid solutions and neither has Obama.

    Yea, that’s biased. pfft.

    Oh my . . .
Because a station has more viewers that means they can’t POSSIBLY be biased? Sounds a bit like an O’Reilly style argument to me.

There is also “Hannity’s America” without Colmes. However, even with Colmes it is still biased. The guest is, for the most part, another Republican and all Hannity and the guest do is interrupt any “liberal” talk and laugh at Colmes together. On occasion, they will have a person who agrees with Colmes, yes. But overall, I don’t see how anyone can deny the bias.

I will admit, Bill isn’t as biased with the candidates. But he definitely has a conservative bias (might explain his hesitancy towards McCain).

So yes. If Olbermann gets “ousted” for being BIAS only, then it seems only right to oust every other biased talking head. I assume FOX and MSNBC would be out of anchors then, though.

no Liberal guests… like the night they had Joe Biden as a guest? Or Geraldine Ferraro (who is on often, btw). Or Terry McCaullife. Or Ed Rendell? I could go on…. I have to wonder if you’ve ever watched the show or if you’re just spouting leftist talking points. I would say they are pretty 50/50 on conservative versus liberal guests.

Hannity and Colmes is biased.. you’re right. Hannity is firmly planted on the right side… Colmes is equally biased on the left and together they present a pretty balanced show.

As for “Hannity’s America” - I can’t stomach it. Only watched it once and clicked it off and haven’t watched it since. Since I haven’t really watched it, I can’t really comment on it :D

    Derek-

Did you even bother to take a look at the guest list of keith’s..it’s right up there in the links. Lisa pointed out examples of Democrats being guests on various programs. Fox always tries to get a person on, but they can’t help it if the Democrats are afraid of a network.

Yes, kind of like when Bill O’Reilly personally invited Barack Obama to come on his show. Obama promised Bill “sometime right after the primaries, deal??” Bill said, “That’s a deal I’ll hold you to.”. Then… then - they shook on it.

Barack Obama has since ignored O’Reilly’s requests to come on the show.

Didn’t Michelle Obama say something in her speech about Barack’s word being his bond?

Some Democrats are too scared to sit face to face with someone, like O’Reilly, who won’t lob softball questions their direction. Obama won’t ‘man up’ to O’Reilly - and don’t think O’Reilly will forget it lol

Like Al Gore, who will NOT debate anyone on his Global Warming fraud, Barack Saddam Hussein Osama Obama won’t go into any venue he knows will have questions he cannot provide glib scripted answers to.

El Duko been drinkin’ El Kool-Aido. Keith Olberman is a pos. Olberman isn’t a journalist, he’s a propagadist weasel, one of the lowest maggots in the MSM political slime pond.

    Derek are you that ignorant?

Hannity makes no denial he is a conservative, the same with O’Reilly. Olbermann claims he has no bias towards either party.

O’Reilly is more fair than people give him credit for.

How can you respect Keith Olbermann when he refuses to interview or debate people with a conservative view.

In fact, Olbermann is such a joke he refused to go to Tim Russerts funeral unless MSNBC gave him a first class ticket, and he refused to go to the RNC because he is a yellow bellied chicken. He even asked for more security for the DNC. This guy is such a joke.
