The Mayor of a Town of 9,000 Sucks the Oxygen Outta the Room

By: Lisa On: Aug/29/08 - 27 Comments

Curious note – - have any of you noticed how the liberal talking heads, AND THE MSM, refer to Sarah Palin as the former Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska… completely washing over, and conveniently leaving out, the FACT that she is now the Governor of Alaska?

Nice way to try and downplay and completely wash over the woman’s experience and accomplishments. Is this how ALL women in politics are treated by the Democrats and MSM?

I think I shall, from this point on, refer to Obama as: Community Organizer, Barack Obama and refuse to acknowledge that boring Senator title….hell, he does. Heh.

Let’s take that a step further. Have you noticed how the MSM is now running Palin against Obama as if somehow their positions are one and the same on their respective tickets? Or, when they aren’t doing that, it is as if she and Biden are actually the top of the ticket? Obama is presumed to be too stupid and McCain is going to die.

They have McCain dying even though he has a clean bill of health. Just like Cheney has been dying from that same heart attack.

They are desperate to try to justify the fact that they chose a man with no experience as the choice for their party.

She took on the corruption within her state and within her own party, Obama reaped the benefits of such corruption!

One more thing..(yea as if) ;)

Am I to understand that people from small towns are good enough to have their votes wooed but they are persona non grata in a big sophisticated town like Washington DC, because they are just too stupid to know what what’s good for them.

It is so obvious what the Democrites and the MSM are trying to do it is laughable. The question is now whether it will work with anyone besides the Kool Aid drinking lemmings shown at the Democrite Convention gazing glassy-eyed up at Obama as though they were in the presence of the Messiah. (Some, even men, were crying!)

“…the FACT that she is now the Governor of Alaska”

    ———–

    Not impressed.

Alaska has the same population as San Francisco does. Around 600,000 people.

“Presidential scholars say she (Palin) appears to be the least experienced, least credentialed person to join a major-party ticket in the modern era.”

Wow. And she’s the VP choice to a man who would be the oldest sitting president and who also has numerous health issues?

    That’s not a woman.

That’s Harriet Nelson’s clone. Problem is this time she’s packin’ a shotgun. Her experience in the realm of Foreign relations is vast I understand. Better hone up for those debates Johnny.

Poor Johnny. He’s so desperate he thinks he’s being progressive by choosing a human being with a vagina. He doesn’t actually think any woman WORTH HER SALT and who campaigned so hard for Senator Clinton will vote for Sarah does he? That old bastard’s delusional.

Her political abilities “palin” comparison to your average Joe or Josephine on the street. :d

However I’d like to thank the old reprobate for choosing her.

    The win is ours! /:)

By picking a solid Conservative, with a record of Executive experience that is vastly greater than the Community Organizer, McCain shores up his Conservative base. A smart move.

Sarah Palin has more executive experience than Obama or Biden combined. Obama is woefully unqualified to be President.

You can drink the koolaid and spout the rhetoric all that you might want, but Obama is NOT ready for the task fo being President. He lacks the experience of being in a LEADERSHIP position. Heading a committee doesn’t demonstrate any form of leadership skills, and Obama has been woefully inadequate at even that.

In January 2005, Obama became Senator of Illinois.

In February 2007, Obama announced his bid for President.

Barack Obama has been a Senator for 2 years….then abandoned his Senate seat to become a professional candidate.

Senators do nothing more than sit around in committees and discuss, debate and talk. Obama has sat around and discussed, debated and talked for 2 years before becoming a candidate.

    Not impressed.

..and if Obama really cared about energy solutions – he’d be urging the Democrats to get their butts back to Washington to join the Republicans to work on those energy solutions they say they care so much about.

Lisa I’m not impressed with any Demoflat.
eben who the ___ is this transvestite, queer, eunuch, lesbo! Hello – OH it’s Rosey O’ Donald with a lousy nasty mouth.
What does someone as worthless as eben do, pray tell. Let me guess, nothing worth while. Has eben been smoking crack like Obama and drinking kool aid before logging on. Ignore this evil reprobate and maybe (it) will go out the way (it) came in. By the way here, talking about bastards, we have the perfect example of a bastard child in Obama. No one is sure who Obama is, but ole Mo thinks he’s her ‘baby daddy’ which is very disgusting. One thing for sure Obama is, he’s a Muslim trying to be World Leader. . .
NO Way, NO How, NO NO NO Obama.

McCain is in great health, NO Worries! Both McCain and Palin have guts, heart, and are strong patriotic Americans. At least they don’t throw the American flag in the garbage. Libotards are garbage!

It happens that Biden has had a aneurysm and still does. It made a gaping hole in the back of his head, that goes through the front lobe, in which Biden needs a lobotomy, like you SFL. Now that is serious health issues.
You should know all about inexperience SFL, as that is what you represent – you are the paradigm of inexperience and no judge of anything being you have no spirituality.

HACMA thanks Lisa I agree! >:d<

Obama, like the rest of the Democrite leadership, is clueless about real energy solutions. He just keeps spewing the same rhetoric about alternative fuels, and renewable sources, but doesn’t have the slightest idea what he is talking about.

I think the most absurd statements of all are when they talk about transportation then solar and wind power in the same sentence. Like they are going to put giant solar panels on the roof of cars? Wind turbines on the roofs of cars?

There are only two alternates that make sense right now for vehicles, and that is the plug-in hybrid and LPG-powered. But we don’t have the extra power at night to charge up the plug in hybrids and we don’t have the extra natural gas for more LPG fueled vehicles because it is used for electric power generation. The solution: Nuclear power. It would free up natural gas for vehicle fuel and would provide plenty of power for charging plug-in hybrids. Plus enable future solutions like Hydrogen. But will the stupid asses like Obama even utter the “N” word? No, because either they are too ignorant, or their radical nutjob Jane Fonda China syndrome base won’t allow the N word to be uttered.

So they go go on day after day babbling about alternates when they won’t even acknowledge the key to the solution that is right in front of them and has been for 40 years.

So Mr. Osama Obama, you can blather about alternatives for energy, but until you accept and embrace and advocate Nuclear energy, you are pissing up a rope and just displaying what a clueless ass you are plus demonstrating with each statement you are utterly unqualified.

That is putting it mildly guys! As David said it one time I wasn’t on Obama’s VP list. LOL Really can’t think of one thing I like about BO or MO – I know you need to always find something but I never have. People say, Obama speaks good, not to me. I am so sick of even the sound of his voice, I refuse to listen. Biden is a bad joke, and I don’t know what’s her name (Biden’s wife) Wouldn’t know her if she walked down the street right beside me. So you see how interested I am in the Demoflats, not to say I didn’t listen to Obama in the debates, never once was I impressed. How in this wide world did he ever graduate, beyond me? Goes to show you school is not what it is cracked up to be. Obama and MO’s grammar is terrible, and manners worse. I thought those two kids of theirs were never going to shut up after MO did her fake friggin’ speech. I kinda sorta listened to her – until I got queasy. I could go on and on but I’m actually putting my self to sleep.
I do enjoy reading your comments on RightVoices, very cool and not boring to say the least. Thanks, makes my day. Hope all is well during the storm and it passes quickly. (*)

Wow… I wondered how you guys would deal with this issue, wasn’t disapointed :-) my favorite was the right wing kool aid drinking lemming dissing the left wing kool aid drinking lemmings…..

Putting aside the childish name calling, which really made me laugh… when I was 9, I think that that picking her as a running mate was a mistake, one of the best anti-Obama lines you had was his inexperiance, but adding a VP who frankly has less, combined with an aged candidate kinda diminishes the impact, remember the people who the campaigns need to influence are not the kool aid drinking lemmings on either side but the middle of the road fence sitters.

Still there does seem to be some unity in the kool aid drinking lemming community, right and left, we all seem happy to have this VP nomination, so I guess we should all be thankful.

The libs haven’t disappointed me in the least. SFL was a jerk. Eben crawled out from under his rock. Even, Red Fred dropped in a Kos inspired bromide.

Palin is head of the Alaska National Guard. That gives her more experience than Obamassiah. Also, Sarah knows how to fire a M-16 and hit what she’s shooting at. Obama can’t do the same. If any of you libs want to dispute that fact, I have a challenge for you. You sit at the end of a 100 yd target range with an apple on your head with Obamassiah having a M-16, a full clip, and the safety off. We’ll see if that thought isn’t an alternative to Ex-Lax to the folks on the left.

Palin doesn’t have a home that may be taken by the Feds like Obamassiah does because of Rezko’s illegal money contributions and transactions.

Actually, Fred, Sarah Palin has way more Executive experience than the Community Organizer. Now Obama has lived abroad which is normally a positive teaching life experience, except when you are in Indonesia learning to be a good Muslim as Obama did.

Hopefully the Republican Convention will be grounded in reality, instead of the disgusting display of the Democrite Convention with all of its symbolism such as Apollo Obama coming down from Olympus. With that Greek Temple theme I wouldn’t have been surprised if Obama, dressed in a toga with an olive branch crown, was lowered down to the stage as if from Olympus.

With regard to Kool-Aid drinkers, the correct usage is when applied to the Left. It was the Right that first used that term, later the Left co-opted it. They often do that because they are usually unable to come up with their own material so they simply steal what the Right creates and use it as their own.

Ahhh PCD, old friend, now it has been at least a year since I was last here… are you repeating 3rd grade again ??????? Hmmm can fire an M16, wow, I’m impressed.. oh wait no i’m not… again I’m not 9, I have fired an M16 myself, it is not a big deal and the footage I saw of herand she didn’t look very comfortable with it anyway and in any case ability to fire a gun is not high on my list of criteria for a potrential President.

Robert, wasn’t aware I was infringing your kool aid copyright, put it down my johney foreigner-ness… :-) the point however remains valid I think.
My main point however was that I thought that the choise was a mistake, McCain / Romney seemed a much better ticket. Just my opinion anyway.

  22. Robert
    September 1, 2008 - 05:00 PM on September 1st, 2008

Romney had some downside. No doubt as to his business experience, but he didn’t make it far on his own. McCain’s team apparently believed someone fresh, and a solid Conservative to shore up the base, plus a woman would be a plus to take the edge off the historic candidacy of mulatto Obama.

Everything I have seen of and about Sarah Palin has been good.

  23. Redfred
    September 1, 2008 - 10:41 PM on September 1st, 2008

like I said it would seem that both right and left seem happy with her as VP, I guess we shall have to see. My father in law who is old school republican threw his hand in the air in dispair when he heard the news and said he couldn’t bring himself to vote for either of the choices.

Do you really think people will vote for McCain just because he picked a woman for VP? I think that whole thing is blown out of proportion, otherwise had Hilary won the Dem nomination then Pam , Lisa and PCD would have been compelled to vote for her.

  24. Robert
    September 1, 2008 - 10:54 PM on September 1st, 2008

My wife, who is a Conservative but normally not too excited about politics, is now visibly energized. She would not vote for a woman for that reason only, but she’s very happy that a good one finally has a chance at a top spot.

Take a look at Sarah Palin’s record: It is a dream for solid Conservatives. She has taken on and won against only not only corruption in the opposition, but in the Republican party as well. She’s my kinda girl: A Conservative first, Republican second. The Republican party badly needs a shakeup; it needs to get rid of the checkered-pants corrupt good old boy crap and get back to core American Conservative values. John McCain could not have made a better choice for that, and it totally enhances his status as a Maverick. Sarah’s a Maverick too.

Anyone, whomever they are, who wants Change, REAL change (fighting corruption, pork, waste, fraud) in the Federal Gov’t should be voting for McCain/Palin.

Vote for Obama/Biden if you want a change of names and faces but are okay with a corrupt Community Organizer and a tired old plagiarist hack who is part of the problem.

  25. Lisa
    September 1, 2008 - 11:32 PM on September 1st, 2008

Fred, I don’t think all Hillary voters would vote for McCain/Palin – that would be silly. There are a great many of them coming forward and stating that they plan to, though. Equally, I’ve seen many women stating that they will vote for Obama. Equally, I’ve seen them say they plan to write Hillary in.

And no, I would never have voted for Hillary. I don’t vote based on gender, religious preference, skin color or race. I vote based on who I think is best for the job…in this case, it’s McCain/Palin.

I have to wonder… with the way the left is attacking Palin on mainly ‘female’ issues (her children, her family, her prenatal care, her mothering skills, etc) – - if this is the way the left treats professional, accomplished women – - no wonder Hill was pissed.

Robert, so your wife would have voted Hilary? that makes no sence to me, I don’t understand anyone who would vote because she is a woman, in fact it is kinda scary.

Lisa, I could definitly see you voting Hilary…

    RedFRed, I posted:
