It has been a while since anything was posted on Global Warming, but since Apollo Obama brought it up in his acceptance speech, when he asserted to the sheeple from his Greek Temple that he was going to fight Global Warming, it seemed appropriate to update the GW status. The “consensus” that humans are causing GW long ago fell apart, destroying the Al Gore fraud and confirming what those of us with common sense said from the very beginning when it first became big news. So we know that was a lie and a hoax.
What has emerged since is the notion that we may actually be in a global cooling cycle. Sunspot activity, suspected as the real key to GW, has diminished, . Now the evidence is mounting and more and more Scientists are joining the Global Cooling “consensus”. Yet another timely news release:

Now I know the vast majority of RV posters never bought the human-caused-GW fraud from day one; having common sense and the ability to think and reason for themselves. But we had a few posters who were adamant and have never acknowledged it was a scam. Here’s what they should do now:
1. Admit you were suckered by Al Gore and his Convenient BS.
2. Recognize there may be other topics you could be wrong about as well. Such as Obama being qualified to be President.
When you open up your mind to facts and reason, logic and truth it is amazing what positive changes can occur. When you learn to rely on your own ability to research the facts and come to your own conclusion, instead of accepting the talking points that are fed to you, the world can be a much saner, better place for you.

Ah, yes, SFL, aren’t you one of those who adamantly believes the Al Gore fraud in it’s entirety? Do you ever access any news sources beyond the SF Guardian or the DNC talking points sheet? Have you not, even by accident, heard about all of the scientists, the overwhelming “consensus” who now state that human activity is not the cause of “Global Warming”?
Haven’t you heard about the growing list of Scientists, many the most respected in their field, who now question whether we are in a Global Warming cycle at all?
Go ahead and post links to some old webpages, some old articles, or some of the few remaining holdouts who are still promoting the fraud. The fact is that the vast majority of the Scientific community is on our side.

PCD is right. SFL I thought you would be pragmatic enough to look at the latest Scientific consensus and data and admit you were wrong. Clinging to a three-year or so old position based on Science, which the Scientific community has largely abandoned, seems rather Lame indeed.

Glad to see mention of sunspots. This is the most obvious, yet most hidden by the media, aspects of the climate. Simple, direct, observable. How many people know we are two years overdue on cycle 24? How many people have read about the Dalton Minimum or Maunder minimum?
If cycle 24 continues to not develop, prepare for the cold. Then we need to ask why we have NASA and NOAA not providing alternative scenarios to allow us to prepare options.

When I was a Kid, everyone knew that there had been an Ice age. Past tense. Meaning things had wormed up! and they are still worming… It nature doing its thing. It is not the End of the World.. Remember Y2k?
