How Did The Code Pinkos Get MSNBC Press Passes For The RNC Convention?

By: Pam On: Sep/5/08 -

Code Pink claims the two women “obtained passes to the convention from disaffected Republicans.” Michelle has word that an Indiana alternative delegate had theirs identity stolen.  Jim Hoft has more.  It has been pointed out that this alternate attended the convention every night, so how could Code Pink have used hers each and every night?  That makes no sense.  Code Pink got in every night.

Will Amos provides this video of an interview with Medea Benjamin on how she got in:

Mark cites Shay at Booker Rising, who had this to say:

I took the shuttle bus back to Minneapolis, and I overheard a convention organizer named Phil telling a convention delegate that the protesters on Wednesday night got through because of media credentials that were traced back to MSNBC (he told her that each credential has an individual bar code for each convention invitee). They suspect MSNBC this time as well.

Mark did get this response back from MSNBC:

Responding to my inquiry, Alana Russo of MSNBC has stated “that’s completely, totally untrue.” In a subsequent message Ms. Russo indicated she is unaware of results of the scanning, if any, of the credentials used by the protesters.

Which MSNBC staffer didn’t go to the convention?

Excuse me but isn’t the RNC considered a private organization and the convention a private gathering? If so, these intruders should’ve been arrested for trespassing, their credentials confiscated and those persons responsible held accountable. Nothing like declaring a network persona non gratis at a major convention to screw up their broadcasts. Just imagine this scene

Hmmm, ABC come on in, CBS go right through, Fox News right this way, NBC and MSNBC? I’m sorry but your credentials have been revoked, you can read about what’s going on from one of the other stations and then report on it. We’ll be taking your passes now thanks. We found too many of your passes being given to protesters, so we’re shutting you down.

Problem with that is that of those who viewed the convention on one of the big three, the vast majority tuned into NBC. Perhaps they would have turned to another network if the convention was not being aired on NBC, perhaps not.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a good solution to the problem.

All the more reason to pull MSNBC’s credentials. Cause their viewers to turn elsewhere. I would bet that NBC only got the higher ratings by running their coverage on both NBC and MSNBC. Cut both and gut their ratings.

This is another great example of the fundamental difference between the Right and the Left. Conservatives didn’t infiltrate and try to disrupt the DNC convention. They didn’t cheat, lie, misrepresent to try to gain some kind of advantage.

The Leftists did. Whether Code Pinkos, BHDS sufferers, anti-Military, whatever. They did it. They lied, they cheated, they once again stooped to deceit in order to try to gain some advantage.

So the next poster that blathers something like “Well, you know, they both do it. Both sides are the same”! NO they are NOT!
