Yes, thanks, I see it all over. Many, many Conservatives I know were lackluster about the election. With palin aboard, they are excited.

And a hint to the nutroots: When you call talk radio stations and blather your very thinly-veneered smears and insults against Palin, you're just helping more and more people to decide to support her.

I agree Robert. McCain's choice of Palin makes supporting him doable without feeling like I'm just voting against Obama.

And, on the original topic, I am ecstatic that those two socialist douchebags are no longer going to be the anchors for MSNBC's election coverage, nor will they host any debates. It's about damn time that someone in the drive-by media took note that the viewers were upset with their undeniable bias.

Anyone who does not understand why Sarah Palin was such an excellent choice for McCain, and why so many Americans (both men and women) have immediately connected and identified with her, probably never will understand it.

We can explain it over and over (it has already been well detailed and explained in numerous topics here). Not much left to explain. You get it or you don't.

We (Conservatives) want change too, but we don't want Marxism, and we absolutely do not trust Obama to bring anything to the table that the Founders would recognize. As we've said a thousand times, McCain is very far from perfect. Adding Palin to the ticket makes it supportable.

NY-David,

Please provide me with a link to that rumor, otherwise, it goes in my next post that should be up right around the dinner hour!

To answer your question:

Sarah Palin speaks to the millions of people that that feel that our elected government is not in touch with the people. She represents the average family. Let's not forget that people like Sarah used to make up at least half of the legislative body. In the last century, we went from sending people to Washington that were like us, to allowing the parties to tell us who we were sending.

With all due respect David I myself am always a skeptic to the great orator. In this case though this womans record, as well as her style, matches up and is exactly the change we need in America today.

And Robert, most of the stand up comedians are liberals. =))

Come on, guys. She IS a joke. What does she add to the ticket? Quite honestly, I'm for anyone who can ride into town and clean up, but that speech at the convention is only going to get her so far. Word has it that she only went to the office once or twice a week, due to family commitments. Can't do that when you are a WEEP.

BonBon, referring to your post above about the Liberal you heard referring to Sarah Palin as a "joke". If she is a "joke", then Obama is an entire stand-up comedy routine.

Oh I know. She is getting so much attention. I think you are correct though in that the conservatives will come out to vote in droves. But shhh, don't tell them that. They might stop!

Go Mccain/Palin -- what a lady**==

Hi BonBon! Not only is the usual Leftist crowd smearing, but there are actually organized, funded efforts to attack and smear Palin. Last night I listened to two talk radio stations in the SF Bay Area, and you could hear the very same callers calling in to different shows trying to work in the same little lies and insults. it was as though they had a checklist and they were just going down the list. The talk show host on the second program stated that over the weekend he had listened to a number of talk shows and had actually kept a record of the "seminar" callers and their talking points. But this effort is even worse than the usual "seminar" callers; these are now organized, funded campaigns.

I heard one paid caller call in and imply that Sarah Palin was partially responsible for the high infant mortality rate in the U.S. (he never even began to tie this into anything that made sense). Another stated flatly that Palin has no business doing anything outside of the home because she has 5 kids. The talk show host responded by asking whether any father with kids should be doing anything outside the home (Obama has 2). Oh, well that's different! the propagandist responded.

It's hilarious because all these paid activists are doing is just energizing the Conservative base even more. They are too stupid to realize that what they are doing is hurting Osama's campaign because they are just ensuring the Republican/Conservative vote will be at the polls. They are de facto helping the McCain campaign, and they are too mentally ill to even realize it!:))
