Absentee tried a new game called “find an American flag the Democrats put up.” He takes you on a tour of the outside of the Pepsi Center, then into the lobby, and finally to the convention floor…all in search of the America Flag that the Democrats proudly displayed..

According to David Harsanyi, they went into the trash ” and would have gone to a landfill, except for a worker at Invesco who rescued them from the dumpsters:
This morning, Republicans tell me that a worker at Invesco Field in Denver saved thousands of unused flags from the Democratic National Convention that were headed for the garbage. Guerrilla campaigning. They will use these flags at their own event today in Colorado Springs with John McCain and Sarah Palin.
Before McCain speaks today, veterans will haul these garbage bags filled with flags out onto the stage ” with dramatic effect, no doubt ” and tell the story.
Team Obama put this out as a statement:
Stories circulating about flags from the Democratic National Convention are false. More than 125,000 American-made flags were distributed at the Convention – any flags removed from the Convention after the event were taken without authorization. It’s disappointing that someone would take American flags without authorization and then falsely describe their intended purpose. We have the utmost respect for the American flag and it’s sad to see them being used for a cheap political stunt.

Didn’t anyone make arrangements for better disposal of these flags from Invesco? At the very least, they were an investment that could have been re-used at rallies in Colorado as well as the rest of the nation during the general election. Instead, they’ve handed a dramatic moment to John McCain and Sarah Palin, as well as relieved them of the cost of 12,000 such flags ” as well as a full 3′x5′ flag that also wound up in the trash.
Remember when the DNCC was supposed to be the “greenest convention ever”? How they worried about the color of the food and using organic materials in their merchandise? I guess we can see where the “green” concern ends : at red, white, and blue.

It figures. Now that the show is over, the props can all be discarded. It’s not like they actually cared about the flag at all, it was just another trapping, along with all the red white and blue bunting to try to make it look to sheeple like the party of corruption, treason, perjury, and degeneracy actually cared.

I’ve noticed no American flags held and waved by the liberals in the Demoflat Convention. Well their lousy leader doesn’t think the flag represents our nation well, too war like. I doubt his honor, Apollo Obama will have his lapel pin on tonight. Obama must look more like a Worldly Leader, like Hitler. Hitllary and Billy didn’t look happy. I’m sure they are very angry, thinking WHY, OH WHY, BIDEN? I’m happy over ‘Boring Biden.’ Biden wins the prize for hypocrite of the year, he better enjoy his short VP term, it’s over come November.
So goes the Demoflat star struck last hurrah! All in such poor taste. Will Obama ride in on his donkey’S @$$ to the stadium? Will Oprah anoint him with oil, and sit at his feet? Will Stevie Wonder (he’s a wonder alright) worship Obama in song? Will queer Father Flakie have the sac religious prayer. Will Uncle Wright be the MC? Will Barbara Stranglehold sing:
“There He Is. . . Mr. Barack America, There He Is. . . Our Ideal ONE.” Yes she will! Will people faint, and Obama throw them holy water in a bottle?
It’s all upstaged like a Hollywood production. Money, Money, Money, and more money, yet Obama begrudges the money anyone else gets honestly. That is because he has gotten his money dishonestly, through gangsters, bombers, bribes, and dirty deals. That is what greed does plus being narcissist. Just wait until the truth comes out about his Buddie Bill Ayers, and the Wood Foundation. Obama better enjoy tonight because his D-Day is coming! He’ll have plenty of time to think what went wrong??

All you need to do in this country to make them like you, no matter what your beliefs are is to plant an American flag pin on your lapel. Most won’t look beyond it, lest they be called “un patriotic”.

I was listening to Roger on the radio this morning, when I couldn’t believe my ears. Over 12,000 US Flags were thrown into garbage bags to be deposited in the nearest landfill! I guess I should not be surprised, but I am. There are proper ways to…

Hey, NY David. For having such a wonderful name, it is a shame that you do not have the brains to match. Do you not remember it was the LEFT that invited Ahmadinejad to speak at their presious college? Good Lord. As I pointed out in a previous post or comment (sorry, don’t remember which), it is the fact that the flags were not disposed of with RESPECT. We used to be taught how to do this in elementary school. I guess YOUR right to BURN the flag supercedes our RIGHT to RESPECT it.
Do us all a favor, and just go away. (From this site, not the country. Just in case this comment was above your pay grade.)

Sorry Rosemary, I’m here to stay. The president of Iran was invited to speak by a private university. Personally, I thought it was a cheap shot to invite the guy here and then talk crap on him on the stage, but that’s just me.
As for the flags, I’d rather people be schooled in what they represent rather then the correct treatment of a piece of cloth, preferably both, but more on the former. Would you rather our kids learn all the words to “Star Spangled Banner” or that it was written when our country was close to being snuffed out and by all counts should have lost the war and let the British take over, but didn’t let this happen?
