Quite some time ago I posted about a study released that shows Conservatives overall are much more generous to charities than Liberals. The Liberals that argued about it asserted in effect that they should get credit because "they care", they "feel" for the poor. I argued that measurable charity is what counts.

It is typical for wealthy Liberals to do things that involve symbolism but little substance. It makes them feel good. Then they can go about their self-indulgent lifestyle without guilt.

Typical of a Democrat. Just like Scrooge refused to give money to the poor, saying "Are there no poorhouses?", liberals figure they've done enough charity by paying their taxes into the socialism system.

Since Sen. Biden falls into the wealthy guidelines that he and Sen. Obama has set, he must must have heen a recipient of all these Bush tax cuts. What did he do with this money?

In 2007, I made 10 percent of what Joe Biden did. What's truly pathetic is that I gave as much to charity as he did.

Who is out of touch with America?

Is he at all religious? I would think at a bare minimum he would have provided some financial support to a religious organization.

Apparently he is a person who believes in big government taking care of everyone. When you believe in big government and taxes it is easy to assume there is not a need to donate to charity. I hope his lack of charity (charitable giving) is a character flaw isolated to Senator Bidden alone and not a trend in the democratic party.

Helping the poor and the needy is best accomplished in a more meaningful personal way... not through government welfare.
