You want to know how scared the liberal media are of John McCain’s explosion in the polls since naming Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate?
On Sunday, the New York Times will publish a 3100-word, front page hit piece about the Republican vice presidential nominee.  Noel Sheppard encourges us to “consider what former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich told NewsBusters during the Republican National Convention in St. Paul:”
I think no one on the right should underestimate the level of threat [Palin] poses to the elite media, and therefore, the level of frenzy you’re going to get.~Newt Gingrich
How scared are they? Well, read the article and then take a look at the analysis by Jennifer Rubin:
In just the first few paragraphs you have testimony that she was “effective and accessible.” So where are we going here? Well, despite the testimony that she was ”accessible,” others find her “secretive” and inclined to put a premium on “loyalty.” The evidence? The Governor’s office declined a request for emails that would have cost over $400,000. Proof positive. Oh, and the records sought (about Polar Bears and such) were in fact obtained.
Then there is the ” she blurs personal and public behavior” charge. The evidence? A phone call from Todd Palin to a state legislator about the latter’s chief of staff, which Palin denies was mentioned. Pretty thin gruel.
Next we have her tenure as mayor, where again all heck breaks loose because ” are ya sitting down? ” she brought in her own team. No! Unheard of. Jeeez. Next she’ll be firing the town museum director. Oh no– it’s true! Palin says (”Oh yeah, she says,” you can hear the Times reporters hrrumphing) she was cutting the budget.
This is pathetic, really. Is there something illegal here? Is there something nefarious? What is the point?
The next offense: while she was mayor city employees were told not to talk to the press. The horror! Might there have been a procedure, a public affairs or press person for that? We don’t know and the Times doesn’t tell us.
Then we get to the book banning. But if you read carefully there is no banning, no censorship, no list and no nothing other than someone became “scared” of Palin
Jennifer was just warming up at that point so make sure you read the rest. The point is, the elitist media is scared. The NYT’s is just one example of the sheer idiocy of the coverage. Would you like more?
As Mayor of Wasilla, Palin Cut Own Duties, Left Trail of Bad Blood
This is the WaPo’s attack piece and I will admit, all I got from it was a headache!
McCain-Palin Crowd-Size Estimates Not Backed by Officials “ Sept. 13 (Bloomberg) ” Senator John McCain has drawn some of the biggest crowds of his presidential campaign since adding Alaska Governor Sarah Palin to his ticket on Aug. 29. Now officials say they can’t substantiate the figures McCain’s aides are claiming.
I don’t remember any member of the MSM ever questioning the size of Obama’s crowd size, do you? Is this a lie?
Palimania Spreads” 10,000 Show Up For 3,500 Seats in Carson City “ Governor Sarah Palin bid farewell to Alaska today… Then it was off to Nevada for one of her first solo campaign appearances. “ The People of Nevada Were Psyched to see Sarah” A swarm of Palin fans hoping for tickets shut down the Nevada GOP website on Friday.
I hope I am able to see them when they are in town Wednesday.
This quote seems to sum up what is going on in the MSM and the Obama campaign:
“These guys are on the verge of blowing the greatest gimme in the history of American politics. They’re the most arrogant bunch Ive ever seen. They won’t accept that they are losing and they won’t listen.”
The article further states:
Party leaders and commentators say that the Democrat candidate spent too much of the summer enjoying his own popularity and not enough defining his positions on the economy- the number one issue for voters – or reaching out to those blue collar workers whose votes he needs if he is to beat Mr McCain.
You mean the very people that have spent the past two weeks watching, reading and listening to the MSM and the Obama camp put don s if they are ignorant rubes? Are those the people he needs?
Others concede that his trip to Europe was a distraction that enhanced his celebrity status rather than his electability on Main Street, USA.
But the MSM praised that trip and McCain couldn’t get any coverage that entire time..
A Democratic National Committee official told The Sunday Telegraph: “I really find it offensive when Democrats ask the Republicans not to be nasty to us, which is effectively what Obama keeps doing. They know thats how the game is played.”
I agree with the statement, but whoever it was that was quoted, must not be a liberal.
A message to the MSM: Be afraid, be very afraid!

Just heard on the radio news Gov. Palin had her first solo rally today. 10,000 people in the PACKED house, hundreds more outside watching on big screen TV. She is a phenomenon! Be very, very afraid democrites!
That story was followed by a sound byte of Obama blathering his change, change! message that is sounding more hollow and tired by the day. Lackluster cheers followed.
Compare that with the PACKED, high-energy, cheering house for Gov. Palin!
Be very, very afraid Obama supporters!
