Ordering a black man to show you respect you is pretty over the top in 2008. I’m sure McCain’s constituency in the South and perhaps right here in Indiana will recognize the terminology from their (thankfully) long ago heydays of sundown towns and lynch mob gatherings, though, and respond accordingly.
I must have missed the portion of the ad where McCain demanded respect. I must have missed the portion of the ad where McCain pointed out the color of Obama’s skin. No, I didn’t miss it, because it wasn’t there. This is yet another example of how the left is so preoccupied with the color of a person’s skin, that they fail to see beyond it. It is a prime example of a person speaking out of their ass and not knowing the first thing about racism.
