Foirhget the video, Lockalish. I heard one of the investigators on the Keating S&L scandal interviewed on the radio last night. This guy is a Democrat, by the way, and he said McCain did absolutely nothing wrong and in fact the investigative report recommended that McCain's name be removed from the proceedings. The Democrats didn't want only their names on it so they insisted McCain's name remain as one of those investigated, even though McCain was all but officially exonerated.

For Obama to use this in his campaign ads is an outrageous slanderous lie, and for that alone Obama shows he is not fit to be POTUS.

Does anyone else think the Refer-a-Friend bonuses being given out are (in-part) a means to get low level players leveled up in time for WotLK? Get them into the fray, more addicted and increasing the longevity of their subscription? ;)

The debate was a re-hash of what each has been saying for the last 20 months. The only cliff-hanger was to see if McCain was going to show up, or continue with the theatrics that he did in Washington.

Sarah Palin is far more articulate than Obama. And has more executive experience than Obama. In fact she is arguably more qualified than Obama to be POTUS. She is clearly a U.S. citizen, and Obama has never proven he is (that alone may disqualify him), and she could get a Top Secret security clearance. Obama couldn't.

As long as she's as adorably helpless as she's been in her interviews -- shades of Miss South Carolina -- I'll remain transfixed.

I just hope that Putin doesn't rear his head in Alaska.... :)>-

I'm not sure who came off as more articulate, though both sounded a thousand times more coherent than Bush ever did.

Nobody knocked anything out of the park. McCain probably did slightly better on Natl. Security (though not quite as well as he was expected to); Obama did better on the economy (as expected). Viewers' polls have generally given Obama the edge (though not by a lot). This is kind of a bad sign for McCain since this was supposed to be "his debate." It wasn't. I don't think that we'll see a bump in either direction, though.

Again, I'm just glad to see that, regardless of who gets in, the country is moving to the left. This was the debate where McCain was farthest to the right on the issues--natl. security is where's he's closest to GWB. Moving into the domestic realm in the next debates, McCain's similarities to Obama will really come through, though he'll struggle to differentiate himself. Amnesty, anyone? :d
