Several observers noted Joe Biden’s oopsy on Article I and the vice presidency.
Here’s what he said:
Vice President Cheney has been the most dangerous vice president we’ve had probably in American history. The idea he doesn’t realize that Article I of the Constitution defines the role of the vice president of the United States, that’s the Executive Branch. He works in the Executive Branch. He should understand that. Everyone should understand that.

Well, Article I is the description of the Legislative Branch (link)
In fact, the ONLY thing I see in the US Constitution about the Vice President is that the VP is the President of the Senate, but has a vote only in a tie. Originally the President of the Senate had a lot of authority:

Rule XVI provided that “every question of order shall be decided by the President [of the Senate], without debate; but if there be a doubt in his mind, he may call for a sense of the Senate.” Thus, contrary to later practice, the presiding officer was the sole judge of proper procedure and his rulings could not be turned aside by the full Senate without his assent.

In fact, according to the same site, the original role of the President of the Senate WAS very important.

I guess Biden missed that day at college and Law school when they discussed the Constitution. I know we discussed it when I got my Poli Sci degree from where??? The University of DELAWARE. If the unions and welfare recipients didn’t control so much of the Delaware economy, Biden would probably be out on his arse.
BTW there were always a few decent clubs in Newark, DE if you happen to be in the area. Klondike Kate’s on main street had some great smoothies and a kahlua fudge brownie to die for. Of course I haven’t been there in 10 years, but last I heard they were going strong. I do sort of miss those late night stromboli runs. Had a place in town that would deliver until 2 am and was open until 4. Sam had a convenient kitchen fire whenever the place needed remodeled. Miraculously, the video games were outside every time. LOL

But Biden confidently asserted his wrong ideas, misinterpretions, and lies even repeating some of them for emphasis. So MSM idiots and propagandists glibly assert that Biden was so wonderful and he won the debate!
