A Landslide? Where’s The Stats To back That Claim Up?
Daring to utter the ‘L’ word: Obama on track to a landslide
Barring a dramatic change in the political landscape over the next three weeks, Democrats appear headed toward a decisive victory on Election Day that would give them broad power over the federal government.
The victory would send Barack Obama to the White House and give him larger Democratic majorities in both the House of Representatives and the Senate ” and perhaps a filibuster-proof margin there.
Look at the numbers cited:
Confident of holding all the states that went for Kerry in 2004, Obama’s playing offense in several Republican states. He has an edge or is competitive in such states as:
_ Colorado, where he’s up by an average of 4 percentage points, according to recent polls there compiled by RealClearPolitics.com.
_ Florida, where he’s up by 3 points.
_ Nevada, where he’s up by 3 points.
_ Ohio, where he’s up by 3 points.
_ Virginia, where’s up by 5 points.
All within the margin of error, but don’t let that fact get in your way.
Most of those are still close enough to be considered toss-ups.
But as of this week, Obama now leads in enough states to secure more than the 270 Electoral College votes needed to win the presidency.
He could lose some of those leads, of course. There’s still one more presidential debate on Wednesday. And events could change. A terrorist attack, for example, could turn voters back to McCain’s political strength: his standing on foreign policy and national security.
Oh, what a dumbass for even writing the article.

It may not be a landslide, but it looks pretty certain that Obama is going to win. This is what McCain deserves for selling out his own party.
I’m taking the opportunity to vote for Bob Barr, and to let the republican party know that there are still people in the USA who believe in tight borders, small government, and individual freedom. It’s time to send a message.

Our side’s own polling suggest the Obama victory will be greater than a landslide:
Obama 98% McCain 2% (survey taken at a line where we were handing out free sandwiches after their opinion was given)
Obama 97%, McCain 3% (survey taken at the local welfare office where recipients pick up their checks)
Obama 95%, McCain 5% (survey taken at the local County hospital where illegals with no insurance were waiting for free health care)
Any way you look at it, Oabama wins!!!
