Again, interviews with a handful of undecided voters don’t make much of a difference. We’ll see if there’s been a poll-bump one way or another in few days.

I posted the “gotcha” thing because I thought it was funny coming from a right-wing website. Also, are people seriously treating “gotcha” as a noun now?

I saw some of those with Frank Luntz. Interesting. I’ve been watching some of the debate and see that the messiah isn’t hemming and hawing so much. Still, imo he seems like he’s on the defensive.

I watched multiple interviews with the undecided voters and they claim Obama won but it didn’t sway them to vote for him..

Why do you think that it didn’t help independents to decide? There won’t be a poll that measures the full effects of the debate for the next couple days.

Also, Obama went in with a big lead, so it wasn’t so important that he win over a lot of undecided voters; it was important for him not to lose voters to McCain. If people are saying that he won, then I guess his strategy worked.

The independants say O won the debate but it didn’t get them to decide so how well did he actually do?

Well, McCain didn’t score the k.o. that he needed. Obama went in with a serious lead and the first polls of independent voters are all saying that Obama won big, that McCain’s attacks on character were a turn-off, etc. Apparently people actually are sick of Karl Rove-style politics. Who’d have thunk it? Now Obama has 1) a big lead in the polls; 2) an apparent sweep of the three debates; 3) much, much more money than the McCain campaign to buy TV time, ads in battleground states, etc.

Oh well, like I’ve said, it doesn’t matter that much — the country is moving to the left either way. I have to admit, though, I do find it funny that the republicans are actually running the most left-wing candidate they’ve run since … since ever, I guess, and they’re still getting creamed.

You know Robert I believe you are correct in that there seemed to be alot of one time bloggers to this site and I’m sure many others. No one stuck around to comment on the responses to their comments. Just pure rubbish.

I recorded the debate rather than watch it. Quite frankly NObama’s constant uh’s, ahs, and duh’s get on my nerves to the extent it literally sickens me. I’ve read and heard enough from and about both candidates to understand that if we want this country to succeed we need McCain, to fail we need NObama. I choose SUCCESS!
