The Los Angeles Times reports:

According to court records, creditors have secured at least two liens against [Joe the Plumber] Wurzelbacher, whose legal name is Samuel. Ohio has a $1,182 lien for owed taxes and St. Charles Mercy Hospital has filed a 2007 lien for $1,261.

Martin Nesbitt, the treasurer of Obama’s campaign, has tax liens. So do his companies.

“The impulse to learn more about Wurzelbacher is perfectly normal. Readers and viewers are no doubt want to know more about the man now that he is all over the news. I know I do. And speaking as a journalist, let me add that reporters should be curious enough to do some basic background research.

But why is it that political reporters only get curious when a conservative Joe America storms onto the scene? Why aren’t they just as curious when liberals trot out, say, a 12-year-old boy to give a national radio address?

It has been almost a year to the day since journalists dropped the ball on telling America more about Graeme Frost, the boy who made the case for sinking billions of dollars more into the State Children’s Health Insurance Program. But when Michelle Malkin and other curious conservative bloggers did the legwork the press wouldn’t, they earned the scorn of their mainstream colleagues.

This time around, with Joe The Plumber as their target, the MSM is coming out with guns blazing. Maybe they should spend more time telling the bigger story about Wurzelbacher ” that he managed to get Obama on the public record as favoring a socialistic redistribution of wealth.

Obama will be the worst president in the history of this country. IF he’s elected he will be a one term wonder, and he’ll cause the Dems to lose all but the most liberal of districts. His programs will lead to only three things:

Higher prices
Higher unemployment
Higher interest rates

In response to those three things the US will also be the lucky (to hear the liberal morons tell it) recipient of Higher crime rates, higher homelessness rates, higher poverty rates, and in all probability one or more major terrorist attacks. These are not negotiable, or avoidable if Obama and the Democrats get their way in Congress. Seeing as they also intend to eliminate the right of the people to own firearms for self defense, expect to find yourself helpless against the thugs who seek to do you harm, if for no other reason than to steal what you have in order to feed the families they used to be able to feed back when they had jobs. Liberals have got to be the most historically ignorant of history people of all time. They tried this idiocy under Jimma Carta. And we all know how well that worked out.

There are a few differences between now and the late 70s though.

The head of the “Students” who seized the US embassy in Tehran is now president of the country of IRAN. So he now has the resources to actually be able to do more than terrorize a few dozen embassy staffers.

We now have over 12 million illegal aliens in this country who are willing to work for subpar wages which has and will cost Americans what few jobs will be available. Illegal aliens who have rioted in their own country when food prices rose, and are over twice as likely to be involved in violent felonies as citizens or legal residents of the US.

We now have over 300 million people versus the 200 million during the Carta administration meaning that when unemployment hits 8% like it did before the Reagan tax cuts went into effect, that will mean MILLIONS more people out of work than during the Carta debacle of a presidency.

We are currently at war, so cutting the military budget as Carta did and Obama has stated he intends to do will put thousands of US soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines’ lives at risk.

We have a generation of adults who have never dealt with shortages of any sort. My parents had been through the great Depression, they knew how to squeeze every penny until Abe Lincoln squealed. How many of the current generation know how to do the same? The current generation of adults who support Obama is the rudest, self centered bunch of ill educated rubes in the history of this country. How else do you describe the t-shirts referring to Governor Palin with obscene comments on them? They have NO respect for anyone but themselves. Look at how a group of these hooligans assaulted an 80+ yr old delegate to the Republican convention this past summer. Is there anyone here who was raised to believe THAT kind of behavior is acceptable? Probably a good thing I wasn’t there. Had I seen the little twit assault the older gentleman, I’d have felt compelled to teach him and his companions a few manners. Even if that lesson included kicking them into nothing more than piles of blood, bruised flesh and broken bones.

Everyone gets it. Everyone loves to point out how others don’t seem to get it. Basic distinctions are merely labels. Repubs. Dems. Lib. Conservs.

Rarely, of course is anyone an expert led by honesty. All statistics are spinnable. Spin is finally what 99% of Americans will believe, then go out dutifully and quote, misquote.

Someone up up, the rocket scientist who posted all caps. They are sure that American’s are stupid if they vote for Obama.
This is then backed by extraordinary facts.

Another genius heard shit going around (probably talk radio, Christian right-wing dominated slush, where the majority of Americans now get their news from pundits and lame brains – masters of spin and statistics) that experts classified Obama’s body language as Hitleresque. So, obviously this black guy will lead the country towards fascism.

Not.

He may be funded by big money, like McCain, although Obama sez he isn’t – hell, wall Street has purchased the Senate and the House, pretty much lock stock and barrel. So there’s very little difference in the long run between basics bread and butter – both McCain as well as Obama.

At least, there is enough hard facts to indicate this country is on its way to ruin as quick or quicker than everywhere else other than China and Russia – who are not hampered by pesky ethical issues.

But the facts. Plain and simple, this current administration has taken the first step towards fascism with the rape and pillage of the Constitution. Plenty of fact to prove there have been more ammendments, changes and dissapearances of citizen rights since Jr. got into the White House. I don’t her anyone crying about this. No, you’re all crying about Joe and about Obama being a terrorist and every other concievable third grade nahnahnahna.

You could save your tears for the constitution.
You could save your tears for this administration propelling, for the first time, through this rotten bailout, the US into it’s first taste of, Socialism. Yes, that’s right. That’s what it’s called when the governemtn begins to own the banks, duh.

maybe, you all should save your tears for that?
maybe you should go to the library and start reading some history books.
maybe you should start to think for yourselves instead of listening to Rush Limbaugh. Because, guess what. He’s no freakin’ genius. He’s clever, got it? Just so. Nothing else. He’s in business these days to sow dissent and doubt – like any other sixties activist. Only he has you fooled. He gets hero status. He never served in the armed forces, so like a lot of jerks and wanna be tough guys, he likes to play all proud about our military – like Rumsfeld, like Cheney – hell, even like the kid, Bush Jr. who had difficulties showing up to work when he was protecting Texas from the godless communists while in the Texas Air Guard – refusing to go off with many of his peers to serve as fighter pilots.

So yeah – back to the wise men. Save your tears when shit starts going wrong so fast and furious, it will be too late to blame dems or Repubs…or even Liberals.

And why? Why will shit be going wrong. Because Americans were too stupid to actually learn real facts. Instead, they wanted to listen to Shaun Hannity – another brilliant political scientist. Another military wanna be. Another sunshine patriot.

So go on – back and forth – all you experts. Sucking up spin like it was going to keep you alive.

He seems to care about America a little more than the guy who made a platform claiming, “america first” then he hires a simpleton from Alaska who never read a newspaper – or doesn’t remember, who thinks god wants Americans to drill for oil in Alaska, who thinks that John McCain is a Maverick.

Believe me. Karl Rove told McCain the Rep. Party wanted Palin in and Lieberman out. Lieberman was McCain’s choice – when he almost actually did care – when he figured he’d better have presidential material next to his cancerous ass.

No, kids, McCain doesn’t care about America.
And apparantly, neither do any of you – those who get their news from Rush. Those who believe Obama is the next Hitler or was born in Ali Baba’s tent.

Hi FAO, I have thought the same thing many times. Just like Carter IF and that’s a big IF the liberals new messiah wins he will be a one term president. The question becomes how much damage will his and his democrap controlled congress do in that 4 year term?

I hope if that happens americans will finally wise up. Higher taxes, higher unemployment and most likely more terrorists attacks right here on our shores. It’s a very scary thing.

Obama and McCain are both socialists. Don’t be fooled. Just look at McCain and Obama’s shared support of the financial bailout bill, which authorized the Treasury Department not only to spend $700 billion to purchase mortgage-related assets from banks and financial institutions, but to buy actual ownership stakes, basically nationalizing them. Like Obama, McCain not only voted for the bailout bill but lobbied Congress on its behalf. If you vote for either of these men, you’re voting for socialism.
