Allahpundit:

Each question is funnier than the last, culminating with, “Are you forewarning Americans that nothing will be done and that America’s days as the world’s leading power are over?” As if he might say, “Sure.” She probably figured she was in for the same old talking points everyone’s heard from both sides umpteen thousand times by now, so she might as well shoot for viral video immortality by making him squirm. Mission accomplished.  On to the petty campaign revenge! Oh, his claim that Team Barry hasn’t paid a penny to ACORN for GOTV efforts? Highly nuanced.

MM reports:

Biden was so upset that the campaign canceled an interview West’s station had scheduled with his wife, Jill. The Orlando Sentinel reports:

Why did Barack Obama’s campaign cancel a WFTV-Channel 9 interview with Jill Biden, wife of Sen. Joe Biden? The campaign cited “an unprofessional interview” WFTV’s Barbara West did Thursday with Joe Biden. In a statement Friday, Adrianne Marsh, Florida spokeswoman for Obama’s campaign, said the station, in talking with Sen. Biden, was “both combative and woefully uninformed about simple facts.” Marsh said West’s insistence that Obama was an organizer for ACORN was “100 percent false.” “In a line of questioning that would make Rush Limbaugh proud, West even went as far as to quote Karl Marx, a Communist icon, in a disturbing attempt to associate Barack Obama with socialism,” Marsh wrote. West said, “I think I asked him some pointed questions. . . . I don’t think I was rude or inconsiderate to him.”

So now the Obama campaign is upset over tough questions that are routinely asked of Republican candidates.

God, this woman looks totally ridiculous. No wonder McCain is losing – this is who he has in his corner?

Those were some of the dumbest interview questions I’ve ever heard. Biden was right to ask her whether she was joking. I was just waiting for Ashton Kutcher to leap out and shout “punk’d”.

It’s unfortunate because Biden missed an opportunity to give a thoughtful response to the questions.

The ACORN question has basis in the fact, and she was a thoughtful journalist, did her homework and knows that Marx’s redistribution of wealth (from each according to his ability to each according to his needs) is entirely within Obama’s plan to redistribute the tax burden. They are synonymous.

Make no mistake, Obama is all about being a socialist.

:) Guess I should have read the terms of use. Come on guys, editing my response is one thing, changing the entire meaning of it is something else.

How very Soviet of you. Oh well, I guess I can file this in the nut job blog category. No shortage of those out there. I’ll be sure to warn all my Republican friends about this one.

For those of your who are interested, and if the Ministry of Information lets it go through, here are the real highlights of my original post:

:if she was a thoughtful journalist, she would have done her homework and known that Marx’s redistribution of wealth (from each according to his ability to each according to his needs) is in an entirely different universe than Obama’s attempt to redistribute the tax burden. They are not synonymous.

    and…

Obama is about as far as you can get from being a socialist and still be in the conversation.

The point I was trying to make before the Soviet censors got a hold of it (I mean, the irony is delicious, for those of you sentient enough to get it) is that you can disagree with Obama’s tax policies, and really both candidates have a lot of ’splaining to do, but it is not the “s” word.

I wonder if that will get through the Ministry of Information.

Larry. That’s hilarious behavior from RightVoices. When they don’t like a dissenting voice, they just rewrite the comment to change the meaning. Next thing you know “we’ve always been at war with Iran”. I bet the Ministry of Truth is kicking themselves they can’t do that rewriting trick with McCain’s last speech.

“You know, I think you may have noticed that Senator Obama’s supporters have been saying some pretty nasty things about Western Pennsylvania lately. And you know, I couldn’t agree with them more.”

Crowd goes silent. People across the Internet burst out laughing. RightVoices hurriedly rewrites every comment to pretend it didn’t happen. Nice work guys. Keeping it classy. Next time try to avoid getting caught.

Larry and Nathan: How much is the Obama campaign paying you internet surfers and posters for your work? Seriously…guys like you are everywhere. We’ve never seen you here before and suddenly you burst onto the scene and you’re talking about what goes on here.

It is well known that there are boiler rooms full of campaign staff that just surf the net checking and monitoring blogs and websites looking for Obama-related comments and topics. When they find them they post responses, arguments, etc.

You guys fit that profile perfectly. So how do they pay you? Hourly? By the post?

As I’ve said before, these sorts of desperate attempts at character assassination aren’t working. The country is hurting too much at the moment for personal attacks to seem anything but childish. Finding proof that Obama’s cousin’s mother’s teacher’s friend once said something anti-American isn’t going to cut it. Obama’s campaign has been run too well; October’s nearly over, and there hasn’t been a surprise.

The right needs to choose: If you really want McCain, you need to start focusing on the positive qualities (if any) he can bring to the country. If you realize that he probably can’t win at this point (as nearly every poll seems to indicate), you need to start focusing on the future direction of the republican party. You also might urge those higher up in the party to sink money into some of the more important state races (so you don’t lose both the presidency and any hope of a legislative check).

I posted this before, but here’s a link to an R.V. post from this day in 2004: http://rightvoices.com/2004/10/26/why-is-he-smiling/

And here’s a link to the same polling site today: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/polls/

I know — anything can happen, right? Still, the RP has limited cash and a lot of battles to fight. Should they sink this money into the (it would appear) failed McCain/Palin campaign or into the still vital struggles for legislative power??

Of course, I don’t expect anyone to take this advice; it’s too much fun to mock Obama’s name, etc., right? You do have to ask yourself, though, if what you’re doing amounts to much more than fiddling while your party burns.

“Larry and Nathan: How much is the Obama campaign paying you internet surfers and posters for your work?”

Me? Nothing. I’m not even voting for Obama. I’ve never voted Democrat and I have no intention of doing so in this election either.

“You guys fit that profile perfectly. So how do they pay you? Hourly? By the post?”

Tell me, does it feel good to defend the indefensible?

I just like watching other people being hypocrites. It amuses me no end. For a site that calls itself “Right Voices” it is the height of hypocrisy to rewrite other people’s comments and change their meaning 180 degrees. The Grand Old Party was a respectable party, one that I would have voted for in an instant. The Republican party as it now stands is intellectually and morally bankrupt. Cheerleaders like yourself are contributing to its demise. And I think it’s hilarious.

I thought West’s questions were ridiculous – and if you were honest with yourself you’d admit those questions had no journalistic value whatsoever – so I said as much. Your instant reaction is to cast into doubt my motivations. Then the site rewrites another person’s comments to change their meaning. You and this site are doing more harm to the Republican party than a legion of funded Obama shills could ever achieve.

Gee Robert, I think we struck a nerve…They took their marching orders to get in the oppositions faces, put up idiotic posts that have no basis in truth and then cry communism when you play with what little intelligence that may have..=))

Hey, I wonder what newspapers Obama reads…

Illegal immigrants are called “undocumented workers”. Killing an unborn living fetus is called “a woman’s right to choose.” We can come up with a pretty word for many things but in this instance I’ve got to agree that Obama, Pelosi, Reid, and associates are socialists. They believe the government is the answer to everything, believe that the government should control health care, retirement accounts, banks. They favor government beaurocracy and government regulation on just about everything. They’re not too crazy about the first amendment when dealing with opposing points of view (Fairness Doctrine), the second amendment, and applaud judges for creating law based upon personal beliefs directly from the bench, which means they’re not too crazy about the separation of powers in our Constitutional Republic. They are all big fans of social engineering by legislation as is evident in laws dealing with everything from smoking to eating fatty foods. They support government takeover of private property for development. They believe in redistributing the wealth as opposed to growing wealth. They need people to be dependent on them so they can keep their jobs which they use for personal gain and power for themselves. Just because its been a slow but steady march towards a certain type of governing and both parties are responsible doesn’t mean that we should give it a fancy name. As soon as they convince the masses that the consitution is a “living breathing” document that should be changed it will be evident to all that it really is socialism. I, for one, am contemplating becoming an “undocumented taxpayer” if it becomes reality.

    Freedom of Religion.

One of the great notions this country was founded on. One of the reasons our forefathers fled their mother countries and came to this land.

So I ask…should it really matter if Barak Obama is a Muslim? We provide for his right to be of the Muslim faith in our Constitution, don’t we?

He is, of course, a Christian…but there are some people out there who actually refuse to believe that. Barak Obama was raised by his Christian grandparents as a Christian and has continued to follow that faith.

Is it because he is black and his last name is Obama? So…if I understand correctly…if you are black…and your last name is Obama…you HAVE to be a Muslim…right? Even if you’ve been going to a Christian church and practicing the Christian religion ALL your life… …in the eyes of some Americans…you will ALWAYS be a Muslim.

Does that make sense to everyone?

Where is it written that the President of the United States must be of a Christian faith? …or white?

As for the Marxist question this reporter asked Sen. Biden, well…Sen Biden handled himself well and answered the question intelligently by explaining Sen. Obama’s tax plan…AGAIN…and explained away this “Spreading The Wealth” stigma as something this country has ALWAYS done with it’s tax dollars… …true.

Personally, I hope Sens. Obama and Biden have read “The Communist Manifesto” by Karl Marx. As a whole, it wouldn’t work in this country. However, there are some good ideas which can be taken away and applied creatively to our current situation(s).

As a musician should never limit themselves to one style of music because you never know when you might hear something that inspires you…nor should a would-be President limit themselves in the amount of political theories they learn.

Keep your wits about you America.
