Good Night, Little ObamaBots?
Wow! I’ve never seen anything like it in the several years I have hung around Right Voices. These flurries of posts from Obama supporters. Today it was like a blizzard of posts on one or two topics.
It was clear this was coming from the boiler room of some Obama HQ, from their Internet team. What I was curious about was trying to guess how many individual bots were posting. Yes, bots I call them because most of their posts were the typical talking point, bomb-throwing nonsense. Occasionally one of them would attempt to delve into history, probably to claim intellectual superiority. But alas all those attempts did was to reveal a fundamental ignorance of history, a mind filled with excreta at no doubt some Leftist college.
I tried to look at individual writing styles, but even that was difficult to derive any useful information from. Some of the posts were of such low quality it seemed they could have been generated by some software application; click on a command button and the application generates a pro-Obama post that can then be pasted into RV.
Then around 4:30 PM Left Coast Time something happened all at once. It was like an announcement was made in the boiler room, or something went up on a bulletin board, or a crawler message went across the Obamabots displays: PLAY THE RACE CARD! Suddenly every other post brought up the subject of race, which absolutely no one had been talking about before. Suddenly it was everywhere, and the Obamabots were playing the race card with gusto! It seemed almost EVERYTHING posted by an obvious McCain supporter was racist to these weasels! You criticized Obama? YOU’RE a RACIST! You aren’t going to vote for Obama? That makes you a RACIST too! You don’t like Obama’s tax plan? You guessed it- – -RACIST! It was hilarious, seeing these posts and imagining the bots pounding away furiously on their keyboards, like Elves on Crack, deep in the boiler room of the Obama HQ. Throwing their little bombs, typing out their buzzwords, changing their screen name every few posts, and posting talking points as though their very lives depended on generating their quota of posts. racist! Racist! RACIST!
Then I came back to RV at 8:00PM Left Coast Time to find the storm is over; the posts have subsided. It seems the bots have gone. So I leave it to our astute regular RV community to help explain what has happened. Why have they stopped?
1. Is it break time, and soon the bots will be back at work furiously posting on the eve of this election?
2. Is it past their bedtime, and they have been tucked into their beds, with visions of Socialism dancing in their heads?
3. Or have they finished their work, certain their postings have turned the tide for Obama, and are now celebrating the certain Obama victory with a degenerate party?

It seems the Obamabots are gone! Did they indeed quit work at 5 pm EST last night to begin their Obama victory party? Or were they tucked into bed early to get lots of sleep so they could join the voter fraud action team in the morning, their Internet work being complete?

I feel a lot of sympathy for conservatives who are unhappy about the election outcome. We have all rooted for a losing side during an election, and it can be a bit depressing to see the side you dislike triumph. So I don’t take pleasure in the misery of rightwing commentators. With a few exceptions. After reading your blog’s absurd and hateful crap, full of the most ridiculously cartoonish hysterical exaggerations, I take a lot of pleasure in knowing that those few bloggers who stoke the flames of hatred and turn American against American are right now freaking out and counting down to the apocalypse.
