Here Is The Video And It Proves Obama Wasn’t Taken Out Of Context When He Said he Would Bankrupt The Coal Industry
Why did the Chronicle sit on this?
Yesterday, Sarah Palin demanded to know why the San Francisco Chronicle sat on this story for so long. The Chronicle responded by noting that the video has been available on their website since January 17th of this year. However, the Chronicle never reported on these quotes from Obama, and these statements certainly seem noteworthy enough to include in any look at Obama’s policies on energy.
Even more oddly, they never provided a transcript of the interview, an almost automatic step for any meeting between national political candidates and the editors of a newspaper. Why didn’t the Chronicle transcribe their meeting in the nine months between then and now? Did they realize how damaging this could be to Obama’s hopes in the middle of the primaries and chose to quietly shelve the interview?

The Chronicle didn’t sit on it – it was publicized back in January.

“Yesterday, Sarah Palin demanded to know why the San Francisco Chronicle sat on this story for so long.”
Because the San Franfreako Comical is another Leftist advocacy rag, another bird cage liner or fish wrapper. I’d say it also could be used in the fireplace to start fires, but it has shrunk down to so few pages it wouldn’t even be good for that.
The stupidity and factual wrongness of so many articles the Comical prints is breathtaking. I remember one recently about how Nuclear energy is so evil and we cannot have it. Much of the “information” the article contained by the “expert’ who wrote it (who actually is an idiot) was either outdated (1970’s Jane Fonda China Syndrome hype) or just plain wrong.
But more than that The Comical goes out of its way to be a propaganda outlet.

Man you must hate the man. I am supporter of McCain. I don’t think we can use this video against Obama’s idea. He was clear: “whatever technology they present (the polluter), they would have to meet the rules of that market…so if they want to build a coal plant they will go bankrupted … if the technology allows us to use coal in A CLEAN WAY WE SHOULD PURSUE IT …”
It takes lack of brain to understand this issue. No wonder Sarah Palin wants to talk about it.
Any technology has to meet safety regulations to be used. This screen you are reading from is meeting safety regulations in regard to
radiation emissions. Manufacturers of video monitors in the U.S. are required to test their designs and certify that they will not emit significant x radiation (more than 0.5 mR/hr). Those regulations allows us to use this screen you are reading from.
Can Sarah Palin understand that? With an IQ that low… mmm… I don’t think so.

You people are idiots!!! What Moron does NOT have the understanding that in terms of our Environment and our Technology, ANY company looking to build a future based on COAL is looking at bankrupting their Company!!!
This is nothing more than a last minute Willie Horton attempt to swing the gullible GOP leaning voters in W VA, Ohio and PA!
Thankfully most of the people there understand what Obama meant and are more concerned about McCain’s Public comments in 2005 about the dangers of the Coal Industry as well as his recent comments about the Greenhouse emissions resulting from Coal!!!
