I always laughed at those types who said that they would 'move out of the country' if Bush was elected, etc. Fair-weathered patriotism is not my cup of tea. I love the US. I survived 8 years of Clinton - I can survive 4 of Obama. Whether or not my business can survive 4 years of Obama is a whole other story. And Trailhead, it's not that I am believing any 'hype' spread around by Karl Rove regarding Obama's economic plan and his plan to tax the hell out of me. I'm just listening to Obama's own words on that one. That, and how energy rates are going to skyrocket. Who knows, maybe Obama lied and he's not really going to do the things he said he is going to do? Let's hope so. The European schools are better because they teach academics and don't have a teachers union to deal with. In Europe, schools compete for the students, and if the school doesn't have what the parents are looking for, they go elsewhere. Here, we force kids to go to the local school. We don't fire bad teachers. We have increased funding 100% + since 1971, yet our scores have gone down considerably.. Did you have health care under the European model?
