Rick you can't even answer a fairly simple question without launching into a babbling rant. You set up one straw man argument after another. It really is a tiresome, hackneyed tactic. I'll bet you are lots of fun at parties; my guess is people often walk away before you even finish your tirade.

You also sound like the kind of zealot that would go around at night and vandalize the political opposition's signs.

Rick, your essays alone speak for themselves. Mean, arrogant, sniping, etc. You must be a very unhappy man. Most liberals I know when asked about facts immediately start their sentences with something negative about Bush or Republicans and conservatives in general.

Take responsibility man and get over yourself.

That makes 3 now, as Rick too was unable/unwilling to answer the question above (why Obama should get treated any different than Bush). Instead we get another spewing of rhetoric.

I agree, Rick. You need to be beamed up.

"What’s funniest here is reading all the anti-Obama nut ball posts, with their imagined fears, petty complaints, low opinions all based on cloudy reasoning and misinformation. They deem it necessary to take potshots at a president-elect with barely less than 100 days remaining before he takes office. That kind of mad, reactionary, ugly, knee-jerk hatemonering isn’t worthy of an educated, thinking person. So, I must assume that these redneck reprobates must be middle school dropouts. These pathetic posers actually seem hopeful that Obama’s newly formed administration will fail and that the entire country will go face forward into the crapper so that their morally corrupt opinions will be vindicated. Yee-Hah!"

It is so laughable when some surfer comes by, reads a few posts, then unloads as above. Rick, you have no idea of the amount of reflection and analysis that has gone on here before the election and after about Obama and what he is doing, should do, and whether he should be supported or opposed and why. You clearly have no idea, and your simplistic assessment and corresponding conclusions only make you look ignorant and utterly unprepared to address this forum. So I'll ask you the question I asked of poster "Trailhead" that he was unable or unwilling to answer (and since he has disappeared):

Why should Obama and the democrites expect any treatment of Obama's presidency to be any different than what they have done to George Bush over the last 8 years? The day after the 2000 election they began obstructing, undermining, mocking, slandering, and attacking Bush in every way possible. Why is Obama entitled to anything else? Can you answer that? Let's see how smart you are...

Well said Pam. And Rick I will tell you the government will take from the bottom all they can and when they do they will force those people to rely on their government programs to live. That in turn will allow the government to control the people. This is called communism. If that what you want?

So Rick, what jobs are those at the bottom going to create? What are they going to create them with?

So the interest rates are what caused the forclosures, or did it have to do with the fact that illegals got loans, people at the bottom of the income average got mortgages with no means to repay, those are the same people you say will be building our economy, people that over bought and could not pay back their loans, those people had nothing to do with the mess?

You might want to get an education before you start insulting people. There is one person that has been chosen for the Obama Administration, Rahm Emanuel. That's it, no more..What you see and hear about on a daily basis, is his transition team, which is not the same as his administration.

You sure are worried about any complaints against The One..what's the matter, afraid the truth is catching up to him? Let's talk about the economy.. During the 90's the push began to get low income high risk borrowers into homes, so what better way to do that then to take away the safeguards that secure a loan..In late 1999, to early January 2000, the Tech bubble was getting ready to blow, the signs were all there...as the campaign heated up, the cracks were getting bigger...by early 2001, the writing was on the wall and the bubble burst..Of course that was Georges fault, because he was "selected and not elected"..Rather than learn from the mistakes of the tech bubble and studying the warning signs for pending disaster, we just chalked it up to being GWB's fault..September 11, 2001, we are hit and our economy takes a beating..That too is GWB's fault..Around 2002, investigations begin on businesses, run by or where members of the boards, happen to be the very people that Obama has on his economic advisory board today..By 2004, the accounting scandals of Fannie and Freddie have come to light...In 2005, Republicans draw up legislation to stop the crisis from spreading and the vote goes along party lines..But don't worry, Obama wrote a letter...When you look at your 401K, always remember that..

Hey don't let facts get in the way Rick..

Obama knows that he was selected by the New World Order. He knows he just bought and stole the election. He knows the media got him elected. He knows he is an illegal alien. He knows that he is really just a pretentious 'mutt' He is desperate for some validation because he is just white trash! "Out damn spot. Out I say. Who would have thought the old man had so much blood in him. All the perfumes of Arabia shall not sweeten this little hand." -Macbeth

Angie & Pam - thanks :) It is my wholehearted belief that Obama supporters have not taken a peek(or refuse to) behind the curtain of 'hope and change'. How ANYONE can think that Gov. Granholm is a good choice as an economic adviser is simply beyond me. And if they do - - then they are either in denial, or just don't know the facts behind her service to her state and, ultimately, to her country.

Time, unfortunately, will tell the tale and, yes - I am anticipating the worst. If Obama's administration proves me wrong, I'll be the first one to say it and the first one to rejoice about it.

Bravo, Lisa! As a lifelong MICHIGAN resident, I can attest to the fact that "Granwhore" has run this state into the ground and, with poise and grace, twisted with a high-heeled shoe, then taxed us for the privilege - retroactively, no less.

I shudder to think what she will do to the rest of the country.
