Michelle Malkin » Confirmed: The Obama DHS hit job on conservatives is real.

Read Michelle’s entire piece, but I will leave you with this passage from the document:

(U) Exploiting Economic Downturn

(U//FOUO) Rightwing extremist chatter on the Internet continues to focus on the economy, the perceived loss of U.S. jobs in the manufacturing and construction sectors, and home foreclosures. Anti-Semitic extremists attribute these losses to a deliberate conspiracy conducted by a cabal of Jewish “financial elites.” These “accusatory” tactics are employed to draw new recruits into rightwing extremist groups and further radicalize those already subscribing to extremist beliefs. DHS/I&A assesses this trend is likely to accelerate if the economy is perceived to worsen.

Well, during the Bush era and the warrantless wiretapping and violations of Constitutional protection against warrantless searches, the neo-coonservatives were fond of proclaiming “if you’ve done nothing wrong, then you’ve nothing to worry about”. – Shouldn’t that same mindset hold true today? Or has the morbidity of hypocrisy come home to the practitioners of that black craft? – So, what’s the problem? Take it like real men and quit whining.

    Joe,

The warrantless wiretaps were legal and the Democrats spoke out against them. When it was time to vote on punitive measures, the Dems went along with the administration, because they knew the action was necessary and legal. They also pertained to terrorists.

Today, we are talking about DHS labeling everyone that disagrees with the POTUS as a radical. These reports are usually more descriptive, in that they name names, such as Weather Underground or the KKK. In this case, Napalitano basically said that anyone disagreeing with the POTUS is a radical.

Yeah, Pam! Take it like a man!

“if you’ve done nothing wrong, then you’ve nothing to worry about”.

I don’t recall anyone saying that, and certainly not around here. I do recall them affirming that they were necessary, and legal under the Patriot Act, which the Courts affirmed. Sorry…

Hey, if you haven’t done anything wrong, then you don’t have anything to worry about. Right?-That’s what all the neo-coonservatives said about the Patriot Act and invited anyone to monitor their telephone calls and Internet activity. Suddenly, their “rights” are being trampled upon?-Jesus, do those dolts know what hypocrisy is? Can’t they just eat the big serving of crow they cooked for themselves? Whatta bunch of whiners. They sure didn’t seem to care about anyone’s rights five and six years ago.

“Hey, if you haven’t done anything wrong, then you don’t have anything to worry about. Right?”

Yes, Joe, that’s right! And it is especially applicable given the current political environment. Just make sure you don’t publicly suggest that your “representatives” in Congress should listen to you, or that politicians and public officials are actually public servants and should remember that. No don’t say that; the People’s Dept. of Homeland Sekurity just might label you as a dangerous extremist for such orientation. No, don’t even think about any of that. Just keep drinking your rainbow kool aid and support our Dear Leader no matter what happens. Remember, and other thoughts are just distractions!
