Conservative Black Woman: Jesus, The Name Above Every Name…Except Barack Obama’s.
Conservative Black Woman has your must read for the morning. On Tuesday, Obama spoke at Georgetown University, the nation’s oldest Catholic university:
But there was one thing missing: Jesus’ name.
I’m not just talking about Obama’s failing to mention Jesus—though he did pointedly fail to mention the name of the One—that is, for him, the other “One”—who first told the “parable” he shared.
No, Jesus’ very name, in the form of the ancient monogram IHS, which had been in gold lettering on the wooden archway above Gaston Hall’s dais, was painted over (or otherwise expertly camouflaged) prior to Obama’s arrival. Apparently, the Name that is above every other name is not permitted to be above Obama.
The photo above shows the archway “before.” You can see the “after” clearly in C-SPAN’s video, as Georgetown President John DeGioia emerges to give his fawning introduction.
This is serious stuff and this is why Obama should NOT speak at Notre Dame!
This is persecution!! This is the government telling a Catholic university what to do when Prez was “invited” to speak.
Some people have argued that Obama does not want to use religion to further a political ideology. However, Obama did
evoke the Sermon on the Mount, at this Georgetown appearance, to further his economic agenda. Although Obama failed to mention Jesus Christ by name for the Sermon on the Mount.
“There is a parable at the end of the Sermon on the Mount that tells a story of two men…‘the rain descended and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house…it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock,’” Obama said.
“We cannot rebuild this economy on the same pile of sand,” he added. “We must build our house upon a rock.”
The last statement is particularly ironic since building your house upon a ‘ROCK‘ means to build your house with Christ as the foundation. Obama decided to blot out the real foundation from the timeless parable.

What will Notre Dame do? Does the White House staff just require that Jesus symbols be hidden or will they also require Notre Dame to hide “Notre Dame”? When the President appears at the National Cathedral, will he have the crosses hidden?

The Bible clearly states that those who try to alter the Word of God will have some serious consequences! And Matthew 10 is most clear.
Everyone was so enthralled with the man’s youthful appearance and everyone wanted to rebuild “Camelot” times from the Kennedy’s; everyone was so taken with the man’s rhetoric. No, the media did not investigate or question but hopped on the bandwagon. There are a few in the media and a lot of people in this nation that are not falling for the wolf in sheep’s clothing.
This man is our President and we have to pray for our leaders and government and remember that God created it all, gives authority and is in CONTROL at all times. Pray for God’s will and not the will of man.
I find it amazing he went to church on Easter.
I have always questioned his faith and his loyalties. Now I question more than that and am praying all the more for God’s wisdom to know what to do as a citizen. As a child of God, I will do my utmost to be obedient to God’s Word. My allegiance is to God for there is where my hope and eternity reside.

Georgetown has placed the name of Obama, and the Office of the President, above that of Jesus! How pathetic, how troubling, hoew degenrate! Georgetown should know better. Since Obama has bowed to the king of Saudi Arabia, by extension, the King of Saud is apparntly above Jesus.
What a pathetic, disgusting, mentally and spiritually sick situation this Country finds itself in!
