I wonder how long the “wealthy” will put up with the additional taxation. Here in Maryland O’Malley assured us that the wealthy will be taxed more and pay for all of his increased spending. The Baltimore Sun backed him up and the people voted for him.
It’s been two years and the Comptroller just sent out a report that of the 3,000 wealthiest Marylander’s, 1,000 of them have left the state which has reduced projected revenues. Imagine that? So now it’s up to the working middle class to make up the difference.
They say California is an example of what will happen nationally with too many social programs – I say Maryland is another example. We’ve been ruled by democraps for almost 40 years now and the state is falling apart.
