I just watched the POTUS lie to the American people for like the 30th time, but this was during an address to the Joint Sessions Of Congress..

There is no abortion in the bill nor death panels?!?!  I guess he has been too busy to read the bills?

He also blames spending from the last decade for his deficit problems!

What was the lie?

How’s that?
The economy has not been such a wreck for decades but Obama wants you to trust him with your health care.

Barack says he is “determined to be the last president” to bring up the health care challenges. –He wants to be the one to nationalize it once and for all.
Obama points out a woman died after she did not declare her acne to her insurance company?
Hmm.

Obama says there is agreement on about 80% of what needs to be done?

We’ve seen the same partisan bickering and scare tactics and too many scored short term political points.
Now is the season for action.
We must bring the best ideas of both parties together.
(Obama hasn’t met with GOP leaders on health care since April.)

Lie- Obama says nothing in the plan will require you to change what you have.
Not true.

Obama says he will fine individuals who do not purchase a health care plan.
Individuals will be required to carry health insurance and businesses will be required to offer insurance or “chip in.”

GOP congressman yells “liar” at Obama

The culprit was South Carolina rep Joe Wilson, who felt moved to act when The One told what was, in fact, a lie. Although certainly not his biggest of the night: Where this jackass gets off lecturing Americans on civility after his cretinous cronies spent a month demagoging the hell out of every protester in sight is beyond me. You’re Mr. Clean, aren’t you, champ? And bottom-feeders like Harry Reid are your hatchet men. Nice work if you can get it.

I’m told that his magic number of “47 million” uninsured Americans magically dropped to 30 million uninsured in this speech, presumably to omit the illegal immigrants who were inflating the tally. Here’s a photo of Wilson at work.

“This evening I let my emotions get the best of me when listening to the President’s remarks regarding the coverage of illegal immigrants in the health care bill.     We’ve seen so many shocking and disturbing things these last eight months. Klinton was a prolific liar, but it was mostly about his pecaddillos. I’ll take that kind of liar any day over one that lies about fundamental issues that will profoundly affect every American.
    It’s as though Nobamas handlers still haven’t figured out, or refuse to accept, that even the MSM cover can’t help them sell these colossal frauds. There are enough Americans who can see through their scam and enough alternative information sources to get the word out.
    Yet the teleprompter authors and puppetters stick with same gameplan.

    I started watching his speech last night and within 2 minutes quit.  BECAUSE he started out lying.  His posture that jobs are coming back.  The unemployment rate has soared SINCE he took office.  Today I’ll listen to the sound bites and dissection and discussion of same.

    Hey Robert…did you see Pelosi – she looked liked she was about to wet her pants with excitement.  Hehehehe, so funny.

    Frankly I am glad Joe Wilson did this.  The Democraps have been a rude and partisan bunch in these forums and what NObama was saying was a lie.  There have been alot of town hall constituents doing the same thing so it was only fitting that NObama got a taste of what our legislators have been getting.

    What Joe Wilson did is just one thing our politicians need to wake them up to the interests of the majority of the american people.

    I couldn’t help but notice the Chicago thuggery in his tone.  If he thought this changed the debate in his favor, he is sadly mistaken.  The American people are actually reading the bills, which helps when one is trying to explain what is and is not in them

    Yup, Chicago thuggery.  I believe it was also evident in David Axelrods post speech interview with O’Reilly.  All he did was insult the man giving credibility to the notion that liberals will attack personally when they can’t defend factually.

    Yes, all the MSM reports focused on how terrible it was that Wilson did this. You know he was out of line, he violated the decorum of the event!
    Of course they didn’t mention what Democrites did to Bush in the same venue (because see that was okay). They also didn’t deal with the issue itself. No, much better to focus on Wilson.
