In the process he broke fundamental campaign "change" promises (end earmarks, corruption, lobbyists, special interests) in spectacular fashion. As time went on it became clearer that the only ones who benefitted were the fatcats (who are again getting their multimillion dollar bonuses) while the promised recovery is nowhere in sight. Except to the true kool aid drinkers, the mask is off, the honeymoon is over, and it is incrrasingly obvious this guy's so far in over his head all he can do is read the teleprompter. He does what the puppeteers who put him in office want; the only initiative he has is to skim off taxpayer $ for his cronies at ACORN and even that is beginning to be a huge liability for him. He may be the earliest de facto lame duck POTUS in history.
