But with 9/11 and the destruction of the government our founding fathers set up I believe it's more  important than ever to try to reach those that aren't interested.   I think thats beginning to happen with the tea parties and Fox News giving a clearer picture of what's going on and the consequences and changes legislation, etc. will make on our society.    I agree with you to a point Fred.  I think there are far too many people interested in their own lives and livelihoods not to be bothered with politics.  I know because for many years I was one of them.   That was not such a bad thing years ago.

The phrase "one term president" keeps coming to mind.  I seriously doubt the American people are going to tolerate such a lapse in our national security.
