Unemployment has risen 7 percentage points.  Jobs are being eliminated left and right.  The Feds own the banking industry and auto industry.  Wall Street execs are slated to earn record number bonuses this year  in spite of his promise to end that practice, and the middle class WILL see a tax hike. On his foreign policy Iran has made him the laughingstock of the world, he won a Nobel Peace Prize for 'thinking' about world peace, the protections Bush employed to keep us safe after 9/11 are going to expire making us more vulnerable, and Afghanistan is now a quagmire having been mishandled by a so called Commander in Chief who doesn't seem to know what that title entails. That's what the lefties, so-called "progressives" are all about,  have been for years. It's the Saul Alinsky, Bill Ayers philosophy, being forwarded by Chicago-style thug politics. Remember thre Soviet system? The party members had everything: feasts with caviar and champagne, limousines, all they wanted. EVERYONE else was a poor stupid slob who worked for peanuts, lived in Gov't housing and had nothing to do or look forward to in their lives so they drowned their aspirations and dreams in a bottle of vodka. To me that is worse than not being alive. Is this what you Liberals, Socialists, Progressives, what you want for America? Even the Russians figured out it sucked. Now you want to destroy what is good in America and replaced it with darkness, with drudgery, with a spectacularly failed model? Stamp out individualism, creativity, upward mobility, hope? Apparently so. Now they will never admit what they are trying to do. They'll couch everything in terms of compassion, all those wonderful feel-good expressions: they're just trying to help everyone, you know! It is manipulation, subterfuge, misrepresentation, and a Big Lie. Their leadership knows they will be the new Soviets, they'll have everything, while you sheeple, you masses that supported them, will be virtually enslaved forever like a beast of burden that toils until it is no longer useful then discarded. Is this what the sheeple want? A life with no hope, no future, no upward mobility, no chance to succeed, no mopportunity to achieve what they are capable of with God-given talent and hard work? Because that's exactly where this is headed. A few will be accepted into the Party, then they'll have everything, but that will be the only chance of success. But it is accepting the mark of the beast, dealing with the devil. In exchange for their souls, and for their part in subjugating their fellow humans, they will gain advantage. Selling their souls for advantage. That's the way I see it. Every time I see one of these lying vermin on TV, or hear them on the radio, I think of the part they are playing in this tragedy.
