Do Honor Killings Fall Under Hate Crime Legislation?

By: Pam On: Nov/3/09 - 6 Comments

It would seem to me that they should based on the fact that they are a form of religious persecution.    Am I wrong?  I ask because Michelle Malkin linked to this blog post, that describes the brutal murder of  Noor Faleh Almaleki.  Noor died of  the injuries she received when her father ran her over with his car because he felt she was becoming “too Westernized”.

Michelle asks Why Are the Islamists Suddenly Silent?, but I found this question to be a bit more intriguing:

If that poor child were a lesbian run over by a fundamentalist conservative Christian, the media would be baying for blood, and wanting to charge the man’s pastor with “hate speech”.

Thanks for linking. The commenter raises a very good question here. Patrick at The Moderate Voice puts it a little differently:

“Imagine for a moment that a segment of the Southern Baptist Church was supporting the idea of parents killing their teenage daughters for going out on dates. The public reaction would be swift and severe (and properly so). Media figures like Bill Maher would go ballistic, labeling the entire Christian Church with such behavior.”

I’m inclined to wait an d see how this is covered in the news this evening… Not holding my breath, but I’ll be interested to see who covers it at all (other than Fox).

If you go back to 2004 bush helped to get laws that would allow millions of muslims to come here. Thank you Bush!

The other pig shit was McCain and many other rats on both the right and left. So as time goes on murder will be allowed under our laws as the muslim hate race people become not millions but 40 to 100 million rats in the next 10 to 20 years but by that time America will be dead.
It may still be called the USA But it will become the world of total lawlessness and mass murder/ rape and total evil that is what the monkeys will bring.

Cry for the lost of freedom cry for your kids if that is all you come do, sad people lost in time and lost is what you have coming.

Bush may have pushed for laws to allow them to come here, BUT this guy came during the CLINTON administration and OBAMA, within a couple of weeks of getting into office, allocated $100 MILLION taxpayer dollars to relocate Hamas supporting palestinians to the US.  I think that puts the Bamster at the top of the list for POS’s supporting the importation of radical Islam into the US. He isn’t trying to allow it, he’s using OUR TAXES to fund it!
