President Barack Obama on Saturday urged Congress to hold off on any investigation of the Fort Hood rampage until federal law enforcement and military authorities have completed their probes into the shootings at the Texas Army post, which left 13 people dead.
On an eight-day Asia trip, Obama turned his attention home and pleaded for lawmakers to “resist the temptation to turn this tragic event into the political theater.” He said those who died on the nation’s largest Army post deserve justice, not political stagecraft.
“The stakes are far too high,” Obama said in a video and Internet address released by the White House while the president he was flying from Tokyo to Singapore, where Pacific Rim countries were meeting.
I still cannot believe just how much the liberals are still in denial.
Islam is NOT a peaceful religion. The silence from the muslim community is deafening.
Liberals should take note that while they are continuing to deny Islam is a brutal religion with an abundance of fanatics, they are quietly populating (no abortion here), immigating to previously dominated European countries (think Netherlands), and will in this century become the majority population.
Since majority rules – think about it. Really, really think about it.
In their rush to undermine and discredit Bush the Left has painted itslef into a corner. Now even the ones that are not terminally mentally ill, who would ordinarily recognize reality and the facts and admit that indeed we are at war with them, cannot do so because they would have to admit they were wrong.
NO Liberal/Leftist will EVER admit they were wrong. About anything. Even when the facts, reality, beat them over the head they will spin and twist themselves into pretzels trying to explain it. They’ll do anything EXCEPT admit they were wrong.
I think that is because if they admitted they were wrong, even once, they would then have to start examining other aspects of their positions. And then they might have to admit they are fundamentally wrong in other ways. It’s a slippery slope. So, easier to just stay in denial. That way they don’t have to think.
But you know Robert, not admitting their mistakes is going to cost a whole lot more american lives. I’m sickened by this. I predicted to my very liberal inlaws LAST APRIL that something like this would happen if NObama continued his path of dismanteling our security systems.
I will be telling them soon that I told you so. I’ve asked some liberals this question and have yet to receive an honest answer. How many american lives have to be lost to acts of Islamic terrorism before you will start addressing this problem?

Yes, you’re right, it has and will. Predictably, of course as you point out. Just as we all predicted (but sincerely hoped it would not be that bad) that Nobama would be a disaster, was a fraud and was hopelessly unprepared and unqualified for the position he is in. Now that he is proving us right every day, unfortunately all we can do is say “we told you so”.
Do let us know what your Lib contacts say about this. My Lib relatives still think Obama is wonderful and that the only problem right now is the Republicans are stonewalling “change”!!! As Larry the Cable Guy would say, “can you believe it?”

One term president. God help us if he gets elected again. My fears are that the next time we’ll get a dirty bomb in a major city that may kill many thousands.
And all because of the ‘lamestream media’, the liberals falling all over themselves to worship a man I’m beginning to think more and more is a muslim plant.

By now Hassan should be an icon and martyr of the American Left. Because he’s a victim! He always tried to do the right thing, even joining the evil capitalist US Military. But the accumulated stress and emotional trauma of being discriminated against, as a Muslim, was just too much. Combine that with PTSD because of this war against Islam and it is easy to see why he is a victim! He finally, understandably, snapped, and in his mind lashed out at his oppressors!!!Now what is the cause of that PTSD? yes, the evil, oppressive, capitalist military, but who has architected the situation it now finds itself in, in Iraq and Afghanistan? Yes, that’s right, when you follow the thinking, IT’S BUSH’S FAULT! This shooting at Fort Hood IS BUSH’s FAULT!!! And it is also because of guns; we need MORE GUN CONTROL!!!

Hassan has no worries, the legal arm of the Democratic party (The ACLU) will lawyer him up so well that Obama will be bowing to him and apologizing for his arrest. We can probably expect the sme treatment for the wacko who will be tried in New York City.

Hey BonBon, if you don’t have a gun, but have a means to get one, do so. There are a number of treaties in the pipeline that if any of them are ratified by the Senate, they will have the capacity to end private firearms ownership in this country. I wouldn’t take any bets against them not passing, nor against a major revolt occurring if they do. George Soros hates guns because he knows you can’t enslave an armed people. That’s why he has been bankrolling gun grabbers around the world including the Aussie gun grabber Rebecca Peters who is now trying to ban, or severely restrict firearms ownership in this country.
Hi FAO!! I’m just nervous around guns. I had a boyfriend once that took me out and I shot a small rifle, a pistol and a bigger shotgun. Fortunately he was holding me up so I didn’t fall down. Fast forward to now and my husband does have one but we don’t shoot. I do believe in the right to bear arms however and I am always amazed at how many people are expert in using them.
I am very afraid that, among many other things, this administration will disarm the public.

BonBon, being nervous around guns is what the liberals want you to be. A gun is a tool, nothing more, nothing less. More people are killed with knives than with guns in this country. Use proper precautions and noone gets hurt by accident with one. There are a number of good shooting schools in this country. If you really want to learn to shoot well, with little out of pocket expense, purchase a 22lr rifle and attend a local Appleseed Program. They’re free for women and children and they teach the history of the revolutionary war as well as the skill of rifle marksmanship. They’re run by a volunteer organization called the Revolutionary War Veterans’ Association.

Then there’s the helping various and sundry groups outfit their members with tactical gear, body armor and other accoutrement. I’ve sort of resumed the role I had in my last battalion as the unofficial, back door supply channel. Only now I’m not calling all over the installation to find things, I’m emailing people the links for what they need.
A wholesale ban/gun grab could light the powder keg. Sure, they can kick in doors and take them, but there are so many guns out there, in so many places, it would be a tall order for anyone to try to disarm America. I winder if they could find enough jack-boots to do it.
That Robert is the question. We can readily see how many countries are willing to stand beside us in the war on terror (and trust me the Brits are PI$$ED at the Bamster for not sending MacChrystal his reenforcements yet.) and imagine how many of them would be willing to stand in FRONT of us and become the targets? That is the reason why the GIVE act had the new security corp provision in it. THAT is the single most scary piece of legislation to come out of this Congress and at least that portion will need to be repealed IMMEDIATELY once the Dems are punted from Congress. It establishes a national security corps recruited from young adults who are juvenile delinquents, just out of foster care, from broken homes, and “former” gang members. It forbids them to hold any form of religious service on the grounds of the training “campus”. Basically they are recruiting people with little to no good adult role models and with questionable moral character. Can you think of a better source for raw recruits for an Obamastapo? Their recruiting guidelines and the religious prohibitions are right in the bill. The people of this country need to stop that from happening.
I Thing obama would have done something like this if the power boys had not picked his muslim ass to become president that is why he needs to help the other muslim get out of his evil acts against Americans, Obama is just like the momkey muslim hasan, in fact obama is killing american troops. Obama is our enemy and in the long run people will understand people like me are right but by that time we will be part of the monkey world.
