That Robert is the question. We can readily see how many countries are willing to stand beside us in the war on terror (and trust me the Brits are PI$$ED at the Bamster for not sending MacChrystal his reenforcements yet.) and imagine how many of them would be willing to stand in FRONT of us and become the targets? That is the reason why the GIVE act had the new security corp provision in it. THAT is the single most scary piece of legislation to come out of this Congress and at least that portion will need to be repealed IMMEDIATELY once the Dems are punted from Congress. It establishes a national security corps recruited from young adults who are juvenile delinquents, just out of foster care, from broken homes, and “former” gang members. It forbids them to hold any form of religious service on the grounds of the training “campus”. Basically they are recruiting people with little to no good adult role models and with questionable moral character. Can you think of a better source for raw recruits for an Obamastapo? Their recruiting guidelines and the religious prohibitions are right in the bill. The people of this country need to stop that from happening.

A wholesale ban/gun grab could light the powder keg. Sure, they can kick in doors and take them, but there are so many guns out there, in so many places, it would be a tall order for anyone to try to disarm America. I winder if they could find enough jack-boots to do it.

BonBon, being nervous around guns is what the liberals want you to be. A gun is a tool, nothing more, nothing less. More people are killed with knives than with guns in this country. Use proper precautions and noone gets hurt by accident with one. There are a number of good shooting schools in this country. If you really want to learn to shoot well, with little out of pocket expense, purchase a 22lr rifle and attend a local Appleseed Program. They’re free for women and children and they teach the history of the revolutionary war as well as the skill of rifle marksmanship. They’re run by a volunteer organization called the Revolutionary War Veterans’ Association.

Then there’s the helping various and sundry groups outfit their members with tactical gear, body armor and other accoutrement. I’ve sort of resumed the role I had in my last battalion as the unofficial, back door supply channel. Only now I’m not calling all over the installation to find things, I’m emailing people the links for what they need.

Hi FAO!! I’m just nervous around guns. I had a boyfriend once that took me out and I shot a small rifle, a pistol and a bigger shotgun. Fortunately he was holding me up so I didn’t fall down. Fast forward to now and my husband does have one but we don’t shoot. I do believe in the right to bear arms however and I am always amazed at how many people are expert in using them.

I am very afraid that, among many other things, this administration will disarm the public.

Hey BonBon, if you don’t have a gun, but have a means to get one, do so. There are a number of treaties in the pipeline that if any of them are ratified by the Senate, they will have the capacity to end private firearms ownership in this country. I wouldn’t take any bets against them not passing, nor against a major revolt occurring if they do. George Soros hates guns because he knows you can’t enslave an armed people. That’s why he has been bankrolling gun grabbers around the world including the Aussie gun grabber Rebecca Peters who is now trying to ban, or severely restrict firearms ownership in this country.
