Sen. Ben Nelson announces support for health-care bill.
Nelson secured full federal funding for his state to expand Medicaid coverage to all individuals below 133 percent of the federal poverty level. Other states must pay a small portion of the additional cost. He won concessions for qualifying nonprofit insurers and for Medigap providers from a new insurance tax. He also was able to roll back cuts to health savings accounts.
Nelson will vote for cloture
Every man has his price, apparently, and Harry Reid found Ben Nelson’s price for a cloture vote on ObamaCare. Nelson announced this morning that the language in the manager’s amendment on aborti0n will be enough to secure his support for Reid’s compromise bill, but Think Progress reports on what really sold Nelson — or bought Nelson, depending on your perspective.
Nelson caved on abortion and sold out for an extra year of federal Medicaid subsidies.

I don’t know what kind of a spine this man has but I will say this. I saw his news conference and he looked scared. Really scared.

Hi Robert!! You have a point. I am beginning to think more and more that somehow this president is going to sink. Everything he has done has been so anti american, so power grabbing, so, dare I say it, CRIMINAL!
By the way, here is the Washington metro area today we are having an historic snowstorm. One for the record books. I haven’t seen this much snow since the blizzard of 1996. It’s only half over and we have 18 inches. Must be global warming. NOT!!

Hi BonBon and Merry Christmas! Yes, it is very cold in Kalifornia as well. I don’t now how much more of this “Global Warming” we can take before we all freeze solid.
What is amazing is how the frauders just keep glibly babbling away, as if nothing happened. Even as more and more is coming out now. It isn’t just the East Anglia emails, there’s another revelation: The data that was taken from Russian meteorilogical monitoring stations was cherry-picked to include only the particular, incomplete data sets that supported the notion that Global Warming (of whatever cause) was actually taking place. Any data that contradicted their predetermined conclusion was excluded. There is now serious doubt that so-called Global Warming has even occurred this century, even apart from the cause.
Yet these evil vermin continue to spout their Big Lie. They know the MSM will back them, and they are counting on the masses of people who don’t have the ability to think for themselves to believe the spin. These are many of the same dopes who voted for “Hope and Change”. What they are getting instead is “Hoax and Chains.”
And as far as the Chicago way of doing things, yes, for Nelson to continue his opposition would not be very smart…and you know what happens in Chicago to people who aren’t very smart…

Technically I believe the earth warms – and cools – and has as long as it’s been around. I think that evidence is pretty solid. I also believe we should take care of our planet – no littering, quit the polluting – find ways of saving energy.
I also think Al Gore the Whore should return all of that $100 million he has received as a result of frauding people out of their hard earned dollars. Then he should go to jail.
By the way, did you hear what they were doing to Liebermans wife? All she does is work on breat cancer awareness but now she could lose her job. Fired if old Joe doesn’t toe the line.

The Earth does warm and cool over time, and the evidence points to sunspot activity as being a substantial factor. What is doubly bad for the hiuman-caused GW hypothesis, though is not only has the evidence for that shown to be bogus, but now it is coming out that even some of the evidence suggesting the Earth is currently in a warming cycle (since the early 1900s) is also bogus.

If Reagan had just been a regular american with a Rotten brain he would have bankrupt Nancy Reagan. The cost of wiping his ass, feeding him, changing his diapers,brushing his teeth, washing him down, keep him from eating his own shit and locating him after he’d run outside naked would have cost thousands.
