Ford posts $2.7B profit, first in 4 years – NYPOST.com.

The automaker on Thursday also forecast a full-year profit in 2010. Earlier it had only promised to be “solidly profitable” in 2011.

Ford benefited from cost-cutting, a $696 million profit in its credit arm and popular cars and trucks like the Ford Fusion midsize sedan and Ford Escape small sport utility vehicle. It gained market share in North and South America and Europe, despite the worst U.S. sales climate in 30 years.

Time for Obama to put and end to that nonsense!

    Whhhhaaaaaatttttt?!?
    I thought the governmental theft of GM was going to make THEM the most profitable automaker? After all, didn’t the socialist examples of the Lada and the Yugo show us that the government makes fine cars and you WILL love them?

    Yes, absolutely Ford is way out of line announcing these obsecene, evil, capitalistic profits! Tat money instead should have gone to Unions, lobbyists, and others that would skim off a substantial amount of it and give it back to Democrite politicians and their cronies!
    WHO does Ford think they are being not dependent on the federal government? First they refuse bailout money, now they admit robbing the public? Don’t they know the government we have today is the only entity entitled and  empowered to rob the public?
