Default Social security? Such a thing?

I don't know how young or old alot of you are on this site but I for one stopped counting on social security a long time ago. It has turned into one big slush fund that gets ransacked every time money is needed somewhere else in the government. Dems flipped when Bush wanted to privatize social security. They and AARP used every scare tactic in the book to frighten senior citizens into believing that if it passed they would be out on the street(My grandmother fell for that one) when in reality it is not the borrowing, privatizing or any other obvious problem that has made social security the debacle it is today. No ladies and gentlemen it is the not so obvious answer that seems to elude all those braniacs on the left side of the hill. The reason is abortion. Since Roe v. Wade was signed into law abortion is the end all be all answer to the liberal womans woes. I do not condone outlawing abortion for rape and incest cases. These are detestable acts that need remedy however the majority of abortion cases in this country are a result of a woman simply not wanting to go through the inconvenience of raising a child. I know I am a man and what on earth would I know about being pregnant! Right? Wrong! Without going into a whole litany of reasons why I believe abortion is wrong I will say this. Every working man or woman pays into social security. Millions of potential citizens were aborted over the last decades leaving fewer people to get jobs and work and thus fewer people to pay into social security. Plain and simple. It's ironic that social security started having issues after the first decade of Roe v Wade

I'm 38, Charles - - and like you, have stopped counting on SS for retirement a long time ago. My best hopes are is that my parents continue to receive the benefit while they still walk the earth ... but as for me? I started making "Plan B" plans looooooooooooooooong ago.
