I recently wanted to address a war on drugs with my own family, only to realize that A person's self will must be imposed in order to reach an agreement . The war on drugs is simple-stop using. Whether it be the everyday excuses for why we are late to work or the last $20 in a persons bank account for the fix whatever your fix may entail. Stop closing yourself in the box- if you must close the lid on your life at least have the common decency to yourself to punch a few holes in the top for air and light. Know that you really are worth it no matter what anyone may tell you- including your own "voices".I have heard those voices too- I can tell you that my prayers were answered, but only to the much appreciated prayers from friends and family was I able to see that little light in my heart of hearts. And the freedom in this comes from my own decision to do something about my stubborn free will. God is love.
Thats the power of love and prayer/ IT ALL STARTS FROM HOME-Thank God our children are starting to see a brighter future without drugs.Last edited by kellymadonna : 10-18-2006 at 04:08 AM. |
